19-20 mpg is what I get in Los Angeles, so if you live around L.A. don't expact more then 20 mpg on mixed drive.

If you're talking about a real iPod, not just an mp3 player, the best way to hood it up is to get a Belkin Auto Kit for iPod w/ Dock Connector for about 40 bucks. I bought it at Best Buy but they are in short supply. This unit connects to the dock connector of the iPod and has an amplifier built in so you can set the volume to whatever input level you want. I bought a cigarette lighter power splitter because the amplifier sticks up too high to close the console cover and clipped one of the power connectors off. I also bought a 1 foot mini to mini cord to connect the Belkin to the aux port. This setup has the huge advantage that it chargest the iPod while playing it and only has one connector going to the iPod from the bottom. Also, when you turn the car off the iPod stops playing so you can restart at that point when you get back in. All around, it works great. I leave it in the car all the time and just unplug the iPod when I want to take it with me. I have the same exact hook up but it has a lot of engine noise like that. If I connect it from reg' it doesnt have any engine noise. Do you have this problem?

My friend bought a 2005 Mustang GT 5 speed MN (new body style), Does anyone know if that car is faster 1/4 mile or 0-60 then the IS? I know quality wise there is nothing to talk about but I am just curious about the speed factor.

It is horrible! I wrote about it when I first came to this forum. I want to drive a lexus and that means Quiet! I could buy a subaro STI or a Mustang cobra or any other cheap fast noisy car but I bought Lexus mainly for the fact that it suppose to be a quiet car. I hate the way it sounds when you stand by a wall and in my car garage, and I can feel the vibration from the ticking even when the stereo is loud. If it doesnt bother you it means you came from a deifferent car into Lexus for the first time and you dont know how it feels to really drive a quiet Lexus. The older models felt like they were off when it was idling. The engine was so quiet and it was awsome. I want to hear the car when I hit the gas paddle but I want it quiet when I sit in the car with the AC and wait for a customer to show up. I wish that would pass for Lemon law. Then I would go back to BMW 330 and pay a bit extra or buy a used M3 for the same price with low miles. (Sorry, had to vent)

I bought the car with reg' radio and no Nav. Does anyone know if I can change the head unit to Navigation? I hope I don't have to trade a new IS350 for a different one. Made a mistake and now I am paying for it. Anyone?! help.

People People People...... I am buying all my cars from a car broker and not only he gives me the best deal on any car, he also calls ALL the dealerships to see which one has the car I want. I usually get my car in any color shape or form that I choose in...... TWO DAYS tops! Never let me down, not with the price and not with finding the car. I dont know.... maybe also because it's L.A. and things happen fast around here. The dealer always wait for shipment and these car brokers don't. They get from dealers for invoice and make a little bit more on top. This is based on my own personal experience. Thank you and good luck to you all.

Corvette 0-60 is doing 4.9 and if its realy true... the IS350 is doing 5.1 so..... not big difference but... I am not sure about the 5.1 for the IS. As for your car to be faster then an IS350..... I doubt it. Race one and get back to us.

I wouldnt be surprised if it does 6.0 seconds like one magazine claims. It does not feel like 5.3 for sure. (my opinion)

Any ideas as of where can I put a TV in the Lexus? I know you can put it in the visor or the back view mirror but... I am looking for other ideas. Any pictures? Any ideas? I want to put it in the front, I want it clean and I don't have nav. I was wondering if there is an after-market kit for TV/DVD with bluetooth that will work with the air condition buttons in the lexus. Maybe like the ones that go inside and then come out.

If you floor it with the VDIM off will the tires spin from start? Just by hitting the gas paddle?

I know the IS is faster then 330 but when you step on the gas paddle on the 330 it feels much much faster. The IS hasitates! I dont like it. (I have both cars) and again.... I know the IS is faster but you just can't feel it.

I'm sure it will do donuts and drift but it will not burn rubber from standing still. (without pushing the brake) Just try to turn the VDIM off and floor it and tell me if you burn rubber.

Even with the VDIM off the car does not burn rubber when you just press on the gas paddle, right? I don't want to necessarily burn rubber but wanted to know if something is wrong with my car. I floored it and nothing!

I took sterling interior instead of black and let me tell you that..... I am not sorry. It is beautiful with the two tone color. I had black before on other lexus and this one is not bad at all. I love it. You should go check out the sterling. I thought like you and then I changed my mind.

It might take too long and I need TORQE. The car doesnt have power on buttom end.

Just trying to see if anybody would find something similar in terms of turning off the VDIM and traction control. I really don't think it is hard to disable the limiter. I am sure I will get an answer maybe in half a year when the mod enthusiasts crack the code. As of the moment, there are plenty of standard things that you can replace to make the car run faster. But with the limiter on, those things are really useless. One might as well find a way to boost the torque. :) I am one of these people that need more Torque on the 350 for sure. I dont like the buttom end at all on the 350!

330? You mean ES330? Or did you get it wrong and you meant IS350?

some say it does 5.3 some say 5.6 and some say 6.0 seconds. what is the real 0-60 mph?
