Well it happened to me, my ball joint on the drivers side popped out of it's socket. My mechanic said that nothing else was really damaged...Thank God. Plus I was going about 10mph when it popped out... Thank God (again) I wasn't going 100mph. The messed up part was that I ordered a pair of Lower Control Arms just last week, and now it decides to pop out... not even a week before i plan on doing the installation. Talk about bad karma. Well, atleast i'm still alive. I'll let you guys know how the driving experience turns out when I put the new arms on.

Hit the darkened area with the palm of your hand. Seriously, that's how I solved my problem.

The reason why i am planning on changing the arms is because my ball joints are about to go out. I have an SC400, not a 300. I dont know if there is a difference. All I know is that the 300 and 400 brake pads have different part #'s and word is that a 300 won't fit on a 400. So maybe other parts may be different as well. I just wanna know if anyone put the Supra arms on an SC, because the Supra arm is like $200 cheaper than the SC (each). Thanks

has anyone ever put the supra control arms on the sc? I heard it was possible but i wanna be 110% that its true. thanks

Get the andrew vlamos steering rack bushes. they should go well with his lower control arm bushes.

Hey Does anyone know why my car's engine would stop running when I'm idle?? After a few minutes while I warm up my car, the RPM needle goes down about half way in between 1x1000 and 0x1000 on the instrument cluster (car also shakes/trembles while the needle drops in between). Then the engine will eventually turn off with the check engine light on. This also happens while i am at a stop light. Could this be the cause of a faulty o2 sensor??? I doubt it's the alternator because I had that fixed 2 years back along with the p/s pump. Maybe a MAF?? I have a 93' SC400 with 131k on it. Thanks.

Damn i dont want to go to the dealer. I know they are gonna charge me atleast $100. I guess I'll have to remove that bulb as well. Thanks for letting me know.

My airbag warning light is on. anyone know of a reason why it is staying on?? oh I recently pulled out the whole instrument cluster to replace a bulb. I dont know if that had anything to do with it. feedback appreciated..Thanks

Last summer i threw in the Iridiums. My old plugs were filled with oil and residue. And just recently I noticed my engine has been running not so good. My RPM meter goes down than usual. Engine just dies when I have my sound system up when i'm at a stop light. Transmission shakes a bit when I go around 30-40 mph. Are these signs of a bad Iridium spark plug?? If so, which plugs do you guys recommend?? Thanks.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the arm? My lexus dealer in brooklyn quoted me well over $400 for 1 arm. Then I called my regular toyota dealer and they quoted me $325 for 1 supra arm. Those arms are beautiful along with the ball joints. i'm jealous <_< just kidding..

ATTENTION EVERYONE I had the same problem with my lcd a couple of times. I was very upset when the bulb went out the first time around last year. I got so upset that I hit the darkened portion of my lcd screen the the palm of my hand.... and what do you know.... the light was back on!!! i was so releived! it went out about 6 months ago again, did the same procedure and it has been working fine ever since. my car has like 132k on it. So whoever has this problem, try my procedure before spending $$$ and thank me later. Good Luck! p.s. - don't be afraid to hit a little hard.

Hey I need to know if the 93 Supra control arms will fit on my 93 SC400? Lexus dealer wants way to much for the factory Lexus arms. Thanks

Okay guys I found the problem myself :magic: . When my mechanic was doing the tune up on my car, one of the ignition wires was touching the bolt of the cover that covers the timing belt compartment. When it was touching, it created a little electrical connection spark that made some sort of short circuit. When I moved the wire away from the bolt, my car was acting normal again. I was so relieved that i didnt have to purchase a new MAF! :D On another note, I just want to say that the denso iridium spark plugs are working great! What an increase in HP/Torque! I guess it works so good is because I havent changed the old plugs in like ....forever, and the old ignition wires were stock, I had to replace them with the Bosch model. Thanks again people.

I just want to add some more symptoms from my car. 1. The Performance is Vey Very Very Low (speed wise) 2. My RPM needle doesn't go over 2K. 3. Minor Vibration through the whole car. 4. There is a small amount of smoke coming from the transmission area after revving the engine. Could all these symptoms be from the Air Flow Meter/Sensor or from something else????

Okay, Does anyone know if my '93 SC400 Air Flow Meter and Sensor is compatible with any other year or model? Thanks

No Intakes mods no nothing. maybe a fuse blew? I dont know. I'll take it to the dealer for them to check it out later. I need to be 100% sure. If it is the intake air temp sensor, i'll try to get it from taprecycling.com (thanks for informing me about this site). And yes my car was overheating all summer, but i just thought it was the thermostat. No harm done until the timing belt broke. I was planning on doing it in september, but it decided to go out earlier. Thanks guys, highly apprecited .

Hey guys Here is a pic of the part my mechanic said i needed. It is circled in red. He said it costs a lot of $. I asked if the problem was the MAF and he said "no, the computer read out that the problem was from the Intake Air Temp Sensor". PLEASE HELP!! :( "Intake Air Temp Sensor", circled in red
