Hi the diagnosis code is #24. It is a black flat like object about the size of your palm connected to a connecting clip wire. They checked all the vaccuum lines. One was loose, we reconnected it but it didnt solve the problem. Thanks

Hey guys, Thanks for all the info and advice. But I took Lextreme's advice and took it to a mechanic, because it looked a little too complex. So they did the timing belt, waterpump, and a tune up. But when they added the coolant, my radiator was dripping like crazy (my coolant level was extremely low before). They told me my radiator has 2 leaks in 2 different places. So I'm gonna take care of that next week. On another note, while I was pulling out to go home, I drove around the block for a few minutes and all of a sudden, my car started driving funny (shaking, smelling funny, mufflers sounded like something was stuck in them). It was like the engine wasn't able to suck in any air. So I take it back to them. They ran a computer test and concluded that I need a new Air Intake Temp. Sensor. It's located right before the airbox. Do you guys think that is the problem, because i'm not too sure. Where can I get one and for how much?? I'm so very upset and frustrated now right now. AWJ My timing belt broke off and is stuck on one side of the engine :( . Back in May you posted the procedure to change the timing belt for a SC300. I have a SC400 and was wondering if the procedure is the same for the 400. If it isn't, could you or someone post up the procedure for the SC400? I am also changing the water pump and therm. Any diagrams will greatly be appreciated.

Okay, Thanks for the info. I never changed plugs in my life. How many distributor caps and rotors do I need for my SC400? One more question, do those Denso Iridium Plugs make a noticable improvement? Because I also purchased 8 pieces from eBay. Thanks

I am planning to change my spark plugs in my sc400. I went to the mechanic and asked him if my car needed an ignition wire set and he said my car doesnt require any. Is this true or is he smoking crack?

I was thinking about putting these new 96-00 tails on my 93' SC400. I currently have the 95' tails equipped (time to upgrade again, haha), so my question is will these 96-00 fit in my 93' perfectly or will there be any welding or so and so involved??? Hey fellas, I'ma newbee I have a 93' SC400. My rear bumper cover is wrecked. I found another bumper cover that came off a 95' SC400. So my question is will the 95' bumper cover fit on my 93'?
