  1. If you are going to do any tracking events (road course) then the M3 for sure. The SC is nice but the M3 is precise. Get the M3. Have you looked at a used Audi S4? 2000-2002. Unfortunately for owners the values have dropped and I've seen some below 20K.
  2. How can I buy the front emblem and SC400 Script?
  3. If I put it on any temp other than COLD, it blows warmish air but when I put it on COLD it blows freezing air. Please help.
  4. My steering adjustment thingy will not adjust down. It will move in/out but when you try to lower it, it makes a noise and will not move. Any suggestions?
  5. yes, please more info on the LS upgrade. Thanks,
  6. I need to replace these rotors and was wondering is if it would be better to buy some aftermarket ones or the OEM ones.
  7. They have a bunch of SC300/400s. Great layout for a junkyard too. http://www.taprecycling.net/index.php
  8. Just wondering how much better the Nak. stereo system is than the regular Premium system. Is it worth upgrading the stereo and sub on a SC400?

  11. Sold this: Got this: I clayed polished (semi-abrasive), polished (low abrasive) and waxed. These pics are before I did anything, too dark to take pics now. I believe the MAF is bad and the alignment is off.
  12. I need the airbags and the covers. Anyone know of an online salvage yard or new parts discounted? Thx.
  13. If you still have stuff left, could you please post. Thansk.
  14. What did I say that was uncivilized? I said he should get a Civic. At the age of 17, you have not conquered most driving skills, but you think you have. Throw in a powerful V8 with modifications and you have a recipe for trouble. Plus maintainance cost are much greater on a SC400 vs. a Civic. So unless this individual has matured beyond his age and has access to some emergency money, a Civic is more suitable. I had a powerful car when I was 17 and totaled it and a friend had one too and killed himself. Just don't want others to be a statistic.
  15. I have an opportunity to buy a 95 SC400 with 80K miles, salvage title, airbags deployed for $5K. I have an Audi as my maintanace hog, so I'm not really looking for another. I currently have a '94 ES300 with 170K on the clock and could probably sell that for $3-4K. My problem is I know the ES is healthy and can go for another 100K, but I don't know the reliability of the SC, this one in particular. It has a couple of problems, the when you press AUTO on the A/C it does not turn on the A/C, blows regular air out, but when you turn it to COLD it blows very cold air out. Also, I think the power steering is out because you have to really put some muscle into turning the car. My guy says he will fix that problem before he sells it to me though. Finally, I have a question, can I get replacement airbags and the covers of both the drivers and passenger airbag covers? Thanks for the advice.
