Da Kid With the LEXUS

Hi, I have a lexus '93 lexus sc400 with 48,000 miles on it. I wanted to know how to get the fastest 0-60 when racing (like when should i turn off overdrive and put on power). Also, does anyone know what the 0-60 is when o/d is off and power on? How can I make it faster and gain horsepower without spending thousands? I really don't know much about cars. Can I get NOS, if so should I use wet or dry? Is it illegal in NY? What's a good exhaust to put on? Also, my friend has a 2004 subaru forester (suv) turbo engine with automatic transmition, he claims that his car is much faster than my sc400 for 0-60. Do you think that is true?

Yo thanks to you guys that gave me advice. I just stopped by circuit city just to get an idea (probly wouldn't buy from them) and they said a crazy soundsystem with 700 watt amp and sub and installation would cost like 700. They said i need to go to lexus to get speaker fixed (i might just buy new one). Thanks for the advice on the mufflers. I will try to get 2gs worth of rims/tires. I have winter blizzaks with 17 inch chrome rims so i might just hold off b/c those are going on in a few months. Plus i'm giving the car to my sister when i go to college next year. I will still look at some cheaper 18 chrome rims. By the way Dutchmaster420 i'm in Setauket up in Suffolk County near Stony Brook/Port Jeff. Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum. I'm 17 and I drive a loaded 93 Lexus SC400. I have about $1800 to spend and I really wanted to PIMP my car before school starts. Does anyone know of any inexpensive ways I can make my car better. I want 18 inch chrome rim/tire set which will cost around $1000. Does anyone know of any good places online to buy rim/wheel set that will fit my car? Does anyone know a really nice brand of 18 inch chrome rims that won't set me back too much. Does anyone know the approximate price of LCD screens in the headrests and how much they cost to install? Do you think it's a good idea? Do you know a good place to get cheap LCD screens that will fit. My Nakamichi system makes like a "farting" noise when I turn the volume up past halfway when the bass and trebble are on max. Does anyone know what I can buy to make it louder and stronger base or should I just clean the speakers out. Does anyone know of any good mufflers for under $80? Please let me know how to PIMP my ride. I would especially like to hear from one of the many Lexus owners that have already pimped their sc400/300. Peace
