The best stock Supras and Mr2s run 13 and 14 sec 1/4s NOT 11 and 12.Don't compare Supras and MR2s to American Muscle cars for selling prices.Your most expensive stk Supra would go for 40k to 50k in absolutely brand new condition while a stk collectible muscle car can hit 7 figures, yes a million dollars.I like both imports and muscle as I currently have a 88 LX 5.0 with 450hp thanks to a shot of nitrous,my IS300 and a 1969 GS350 California.Some imports hold their value well (Supra,MR2 Turbo,300ZX twin turbo and RX7 turbo) but I haven't seen any significant increases in price yet.I worked for Toyota when the Supra Turbo stickered for 52k then they cut 15k off the sticker price to try to get them to move.Try telling customers the car they just bought had a sticker decrease of 15k.

Is your backup camera working properly?I mean the camera itself.

HKS is the manufacturer for the 2006-2007 IS.I am going through the same delimma right now so I am very interested in the responses.

I would definitely call back and if the Service Mgr is unavailable ask for the General Sales Mgr.I am a Parts Mgr for Lexus and hate to hear stories like this because it not only gives that Dealership a bad reputation but also my Dealership because we are considered the same Company(Lexus).I see no excuse for the lack of a return call.I think someone at the Dealership should have called you back the same day.I personally have my cell phone on 24/7,except when I'm in Church,with my cell number on my business card.I have actually taken calls from Lexus Customer Satisfaction at my Daughters soccer game and returned a customers call at 7:30 pm.I of course had the customers permission to call that late as they wanted an answer asap.I am not saying they are responsible for taking care of the chips but they need to address the issue at hand and come up with a solution even if you guys "agree to disagree".

We have 35 people waiting and had 7 cars due in this month(October) from what I understand.They should be coming in a lot faster though in November but I would think we are at least a couple months out.

The factory keys are a lot harder than the aftermarket keys so they wear the cutter out more quickly.The cutter for my machine is $90.00 for one.I only order factory keys pre-cut.

I actually quit cutting keys for people that didn't buy them from us.The problem I was having was the Lexus keys people are getting now are original keys that have been filled so you can recut them.I had a couple get caught in our machine(a 10 year old machine that cost $8000.00 then) and bend and I had to get them a new one from Lexus to replace it.I used to charge $25.00 a key.

As a Parts Mgr at a Lexus Dealership I would say ps pump and line,ac compressor and clutch,instrument cluster,heater display,upper control arm bushings,lower ball joints,starters,alternator from the leaky ps pump and that should be it.I would like to say I stock all those parts for the early LS but keep in mind I personally have one with 285k so we see all the high mileage cars also.They are GREAT cars and VERY reliable.

When I order the chrome wheel for our dealership,the supplier asks if I want chrome o.e logos (which are extra),the ugly aftermarket L or plain.I always choose the o.e. logo.

I loved it.It is out of my price range obviously, but we drove it with the S550 and the 750.I think the car is incredible in looks and performance.I will have one someday.I can not stand the S550 fender treatments and the BMW has too many things to figure out just to get it in and out of park.I know you would get used to it after a couple of weeks but to hop in and test drive sucks.I love Lexus so it may not be a fair impression.I should add I work for Lexus and flew to Chicago to drive it.At the time we had 4 of the 8 assembled vehicles in the world at our location.

The shark fin antenna is available, bit not readily available depending on color.I did receive 2 in for a customer that does research on new parts so you can get them.They took me about 1 week to get instead of overnight.

If you do have pics,please keep them.I would rather not see an IS that has gone through that.A mini truck or an old musclecar ok but not an IS.

I am glad to hear they came through for you.I work for a Lexus Dealership and I am always amazed at what the Company will allow us to do to satisfy the customers.

I have an 90 LS400 with 283k.I change the oil every 5k with 5w30 mobil non-synthetic and factory oil filter.I also have an 92 Toyota 4x2 22re with 253k same oil change ritual but with 10w30.The IS300 has 7.9k with 5k oil change and 5w30 non synthetic.

We actually put a set of 18's on an 07 and it looked awesome.We went with a silver on a blk car.The 18's in my opinion made the car.

What was wrong with the trans?Did they fix it or give you a new car?

You can get the key seperate but there are about 12 different ones.If you stop by the Dealership they would be able to order you one.If you don't like Dealerships the locks are made by Mcgard so you should be able to locate someone that sells Mcgard locks or they have a 1-800 number to order from also.

Those are factory 16 inch rims.I don't see many with them but some did come from Lexus with that tire/wheel combo.

I've seen them on an SC430.I am just not a fan.

There is a place called Armstrong that sells bushings, I will see tomorrow if the have that one and get you the info tomorrow night.

Are they CD's you burned at home?They will cause that sometimes.Unfortunately it might be time for an out of warranty exchange at the dealer.

The gas prices are nice here,but no you don't want to live in Ohio.Don't ever say that when you live in Cali.I'm just joking but it does suck when it's 39 degrees and pouring down rain or -10 windchill and snow blowing everywhere.
