    that crankshaft pulley from lexus is around $400, I had to change it last summer....you might want to call up some junkyards

    funny u mentioned this i JUST noticed the same exact thing while pulling out of my parking spot this morning...... 93 es 220k

    in my 93 es the same thing happened.....what i did was get another power source and connect it to the power in the back of my radio....apparently the fuse(that i can't find) that blew is the same fuse for the amp too.....so either try to find the correct fuse or jump a wire from the fuse box to the radio

    i changed my tranny a couple months ago, my alighnment is off too...

    i got the timing, pump, tensioner and rollers done for 430.....

    hmmm mine looked ok when i checked, but i moved them around and it replicated the noise, so i changed them and the sound was gone....change them anyway its only $26 form lexus....

    1993 is the year......i see like at least 3 bushings...is it the one that comes directly from the sway bar? if it is then it doesn't look anything what i bought from the dealer....either that or its really worn out..

    alright so i went to the dealer and looked under my car. i cant seem to lacate where these damn bushings are. are they the ones in the center of the car or the outer ones attached to the stabilizer bar.....all of them look rounded whilst the one i bought has a strange round shape with a base... diagrams please?

    i like the 2000 es's....very nice, and reliable, it will run untill the wheels fall off...granted all the maintanance is done

    sorry to hear that....i had similar problems during the summer....but it happened only occasionally, then i pured medical transmission on there , and its been fine since.. what i can suggest is to take it easy when accelerating and dont go over 60 mph....i did a tranny drain and fill and it took a couple hundred miles for my car to get back into its same shifting pattern... btw did u change the filter?
