Help. I'm drowning in curry.

Okay. Figured out my new phone. iPhone simple. Okay regarding spammers I am back to nuking India. What damage could possibly be done
-
Why us? I guess when you are somewhere with nothing else to do, it came to someone's head to spam a Lexus car website? Got a new phone and don't know my password. Still can log in on my ipad automatically. Paul, maybe let me know how to reset the pw? Denny

So true. Something I shouldn't be near.
-
Oh I have flash cubes and an instamatic 124 around. Even have some of the film cassettes or whatever they called them then.
-
Most of my friends are car people. Well, or truck, boat, snowmobile etc. fun toys. Many people I know might have suspicions that I am some kind of a vehicle nut. Of course people who drive nasty, dirty mundane vehicles with black fron rims interest me very little I. Most cases.

Computer? Country
-
Like you, I can't imagine how I got by without my iPad. My most loved technology device ever. I read books on my kindle as it is easy to carry 1000 books everywhere with you. I have never done Facebook and frankly after watching the addiction others have with it, I decided to find other endevours on the net. I have speed dial on my flip phone for all the people I might need to call. My wife and daughter both admonish me for not having a smart phone. Guess I flipped out some time ago and it stuck. Of course after I got my ipad several years ago, my wife and daughter each have one and I even bought my mother an iPad which she is very attached to and addicted to that Facebook stuff. I consider myself very lucky to have escaped that scenario. Using a computer has even become nearly an obsolete activity as my patience waiting for such to boot up is annoying. Of course then it needs to update this and that and by the time I can use it, I have moved on to something else. Our warm 70's degree weather has departed. Yesterday I was able to take down all the Christmas decorations my wife so much loves and mow the lawn all in my shorts and tee shirt. Not bad for early January. Now today dawned around mid 40's but crystal clear. That means I can finally take my IS out of the garage. Yes, I am pathetic and won't take it out in the rain which my wife says is ridiculous but that's me. Why should I get my car dirty when I have other options? I do know the Chevy Silverado doesn't mind rain. I installed new headlights, parking lights side marker, replaced the serpentine belt, the tensioner pulley and did an oil, lube and filter on the truck. I may head up north to ski for a day or so. My Rossignol Experiences are sitting there looking at me. Might even take the IS for a quick run down to the beach place to check things out. Suppose to go to 17F here tomorrow night so better check the heat.

I'm not familiar with any viewer options. Whatever the iPad uses, I use. I use moviemaker on my laptop for videos.
-
Yup, this Dell laptop I have is my last not Apple computer. I use my iPad almost exclusively and use the laptop only for my YouTube videos. Love my iPad.
-
Why yes you do. Taken pictures for years with this, never had one flip upside down before.

Whenever we go to any parking lot, we nearly always take the silverado. Luckily, my wife doesn't think the IS is that comfortable being so low and all. Okay with me. I even drive my Nissan Frontier once in awhile to keep the 8 year old battery charged. Some parking lots are okay with wider spaces and plenty of way out end places. Parked like that at an RX the other day and some idiot parked about one foot from me. I checked carefully but still had to inch the car out. Hmmm, do you think the centimeter into a parking spot in Europe?
-
Well, didn't think of that. I try to use only Apple products now. IYogi could drive you to insanity. I had to block several numbers to stop them from calling despite multiple requests. That all started with Dell by the way.

Fukken Wax Is One The Best Car Products
VBdenny replied to jelinajames's topic in Lexus Detailing and Car Care Forum
The very fact that you like wax is something I like. Never tried this wax since I got hooked on Collinite #845 15 years ago. BUT, that certainly does not mean any wax is better than any other. No sure. Wax comes down to the person applying the wax. Certain people, including my wife, have commented that it is strange to spend the evening in the garage waxing a car. Well, I have a nice 32" HDTV, cold beer, and nice back door (to go outside to check weather) and tools and stuff. I do love the TV in the living room and have even watched it when big games are on. Keep waxing, very therapeutic. Denny -
Yes, not sure why but raises havoc with shift patterns.

Hi Ashley, sorry to hear of your accident. working on a car in winter weather is about as nasty work as there you can find. Even that Dirty Jobs guy on TV wouldn't do it. Not sure what the junkyard situation is there (probably buried in snow) but they are a wealth of very inexpensive replacement parts on the spot. I've often seen your year and model in local yards here in Virginia Beach. I use also use junk cars to learn how to take things apart in cars I don't want to break things.

Is F- High Praise For Excellence
VBdenny replied to pj8708's topic in Lexus IS 250 / IS Turbo / IS300 / IS350 / F Sport Club
seems like with more weight, it would also be slower. -
BAP Geon has a great selection of Japanese parts at great low prices. When you press your brake, does the "R" reverse light illuminate by any chance?
-
Hey there mailhot, good to see people with parts all over. So you are putting a 5.7 from a Tundra into a SC430 body? Just wild. A car guys who previously lived across from me put a Q-45 engine in one of those small Nissan RWD cars. Yeah, I'd sure be interested in seeing you post on progress. Interesting stuff to me. Denny
-
blake, didn't you have an LS400 back in the day? Seem to remember that from 10 years ago.
-
I can appreciate that. There really is nothing better than having a pickup. I'd be lost without one. Pretty sweet 150, even from a Chevy guy like me. I can fit the Silverado in our garage in Massachusetts because it is really deep and my wife's RAV4 is narrow. In VB, my IS250 and 66 Cutlass live inside. Other are out or dispersed.
