I looked into that, as well, before I bought my l-tuned grill. When I was searching extensively a few months ago...couldn't find one anywhere...even internationally.
Anybody else got better information?
Well...I paid 200 (labor only) at a local reputable shop to have all four pads replaced and rotors machined...Lexus was gonna charge me $428 (labor-only)...
Well...have had them in for a few weeks...wow...that's alot of brake dust!!
Any of you guys try "wheel wax"? Just ordered some for $20 bux shipped...supposed to help out with brake dust build-up...
I just bought some plastic cleaner for my headlight lenses - I'll let you know how they work out.
Might be a gimmick - but wanted to try them out before I replaced...
OEM painted spoilers - best deals are on Ebay....
I don't recommend Lexus for any service...even though they tell you they are specialists or what not. Ripoff...Santa Monica Lexus charges $105 for an oil change!! No joke!!
I personally wouldn't waste money on the 60k service or any big service that Lexus recommends...Lexus cars are meant to last...I do services on an as needed basis - I gotta local mechanic which I trust and know won't screw with me...gotta build a relationship with a local place - my opinion anyways.
Anytime you do a mod like that - intake/exhaust/etc...you should re-set your ECU - Just detach battery cables for like 30 minutes...re-attach and drive the car aggressively for awhile...
Hope that helps...P.S. I put a Borla Ex. on my GS300 - posted the same question cuz I noticed slower acc. also after installation...might be psychological - might not. Who knows...sounds better though!
Tanabe has one bro...l-tuned parts.com $252.00....might want to wait to see if TRD comes out with one...not sure they will though...anybody have more info?
Just thought I'd post an updated link for wheel diameter calculations. The link in the old post stopped working (For me anyways).
Have fun with it!

All the replies sound about right...I just replaced mine at 81,000...I visibly saw cracking - never take a chance...took it to an independent shop - cost me $91 installed.
I never go to the dealership - offensive pricing.
Try to find a nice kept shop in your area and just talk to the guys and then keeping takin your car there...forge a relationship - and they'll take care of ya...
Anyone know how to remove the driver side front door panel on a 98+ GS?
Need to get behind there to install new door lock actuator.
Thanks again in advance!
Oh, I don't know - I was already gonna do it anyways - so wasn't really lookin for a cure in doing so...just wanted to give you guys that tidbit of info in case you were wonderin'- Lexus said that it 'could' have been the prob...they also mentioned the master cylinder...guess I'll juz have it looked at...
Thanks for the reply!
I actually ended up just using some tape and a large orange envelope...worked great! I'll post pic's. It might not have been the best way...but hey, looks like it worked! =)
Do have some bubbles - so might have to sand it down with high grit sandpaper and some water - that might require a second quote.
I'm useing "Lens' Painter" brand smoke colored spray paint. Found it EBAY - got it shipped in from Japan!
Anyone know how to take out the led assembly on a stock 98+ GS spoiler? I want to smoke it out...but would be easier if I could remove it from the spoiler.
Anyone know if it just clips out? If so, how?
Thanks again in advance for any input!
Hey all...I juz put on ss brake lines - thought it would solve my pedal sticking prob...but it didn't...
Anyone experience this on a GS3 before (or any other lexo)?
Need some advice on what the prob might be.
Thanks in advance for the help!
