  1. Hey guys...just got the ss brake lines and axxis ultimates put on...sh*t stops on a dime...a HUGE defference...I love it...and they're hella quiet?? So not sure what everyone else was experiencin'....too soon to tell ya about dust...but the stoppin power alone is absolutely worth the upgrade on a GS3...
  2. Haha...what a trip...dude...I was hopin u'd respond...it was you I was talkin about with the friend with 20"s...haha...and it worked perfectly...anyways, car looks sweet dude!! I gotta post some new pic's of mine...sits a bit lower lower now,and has a aero kit, etc...just put ss brake lines in with axxis ult's pads...sh*t stops on a dime!!

  4. Hey blue06..you have some fam workin at Toyota in Cali?
  5. No, just one plug I think - and I haven't been back in there for awhile - but I remember the cord being black w/ silver tip. ←
  6. If it's a newer 98+ GS..then antenna is in the back windshield..but the antenna plug(which looks like the larger of the headphone jacks) is behind the radio. Hope that helps...
  7. I would agree with ghetto comment - my buddy has an '06 GS with 20"s...and he's done nothing else to the car...looks ghetto in my opinion...I'd stick with 18's unless you're gonna lower the car and maybe put a body kit on it...just my opinion, which I'm sure will get bashed! =)
  8. Hey, all. Based on experience and your opinion, who makes the best pads? I just ordered the Axxis Ultimates, but was curious to see what everyone else has.
  9. I have the L-tuned kit on my car - shocks/ struts and springs. If you just want to lower the car get the springs - which are around $275 on ebay. If you want to keep the warranty - get it installed at lexus. Going elsewhere will void the warranty, but cost you alot less - I paid $200 at a tuner shop and that included the 4 wheel alignment which must be done after you lower any car. I have 18's on my GS with 245/40 series tires and the car looks perfect with the l-tuned springs - the ride is awesome - not harsh at all. L-tuned are probably the most comparable to stock ride. About a 1-inch drop all around. Hope that helps! The only way to eliminate this gap is to lower your car. There are alot of different options depending on what you are looking for and how much you want to spend. If you just want to eliminat the gap,not spend a fortune And get something decent check out the l-tuned kit. This was an option and these are lexus parts.Or maybe Toyota??Good luck and congrats on your ride. ← Thank you for responding. So at least now I feel better that the place that sold me the wheels and tires didnt lie to me. Some more questions now, as lowering a car is something very new to me. As for the l-tuned kit, will that mess up the smooth ride? How much will the kit lower the car? How much is the kit and how much should I expect to spend getting it installed (is this something the dealer would do or should I find a local tuner shop)? Will this mess up my warranty? ←
  10. Just bought this black pearl kit off of Ebay...before I go bolisitic on the ebayer who sold it to me - have any one of you experienced discoloration with your black pearl emblems? I just got the car washed and now overnight they look dark goldish/bronze? Is this normal?...if so, how do I clean them up to their original color? Thanks again for any insight guys!
  11. The lines were $110 bux...l-tunedparts.com The benefits are that you get better pedal feel and less pedal travel for more immediate braking response. You know when you depress the break pedal, the car stops, but you can still press the pedal in an inch or two at standstill? - That is eliminated, as well. Again, much thanks to everyone who responded!
  12. For those of you that have installed stainless steel break lines in your cars - howmuch did you pay for install. Just don't wat to get ripped off. Also, any recommendations as to who to get them installed by? I just bought the goodrich ss break lines. Also, picked up the Axxis Ultimate break pads for the front and rear. Much thanks for any insight!
  13. If you have an OEM spoiler and then go with the lip spoiler...would it leave holes?
  14. At slower speeds...am I supposed to lose low end torque?
  15. Thanks! It is a brand new Borla Cat-Back installed by a very reputable shop that specialized in Lexus's...driving to work today it wasn't that bad...think I 'll hang with it a bit longer and see what happens...
  16. Hey, All. For those with a 98+ GS3 - are you guys experiencing slower acceleration? I like the sound - but sacrificing performance - I thought it was supposed to add horsepower, etc? Kinda confused..thinkin about goin back to stock - what are your opinions? Oh, and I did re-set the computer by disconnecting the battery...and I have a PLP intake... Let me know all....any insight would be useful - thanks!
  17. -Hey All Getting the L-tuned side skirts today - any tips on installation? Easy DIY or get a body shop to do it? Thanks!
