This tape didnt help in fact now i hear an air sound like my window is cracked a little and letting air in. Did anyone have similar issues or different fixes.

Last dumb question on this topic...will the 00 gs400 hid fit the 01 430?

There seems to be no particular pattern for the A/C. I am waiting till it gets worse till I take it in so that it doesn't work for the techs and they can check out the problem. Do you know how much theese parts w/labor might cost?

My car has the self-leveling feature...can I just buy any headlight. mine has a crack in the left DRL. In turn it is dusty in there and looks a bit off. There are some headlights on ebay, but i am not sure what to get. do i need an HID one or will a non-hid one work. seems like a stupid question but i must ask cuz i'm ignorant...

how do i reset the system? can I check the codes or do i need to take it to the dealership?

i have an 01 430 that has an intermittent problem with my AC. The AC panel works, however sometimes the blower does not turn on. Has anyone ever seen this before? can it be related to the 98 problem?

good question...i dont have l-tuned springs though...the l-tuned springs have a smaller drop and maybe able to get within alignment spec.

i know that there are none available for the 2nd gen...alignment is definately off according to the papers.

I did the alignment however i am out of spec...since there is no camber kit for this car i guess i am screwed. I am running a -1.7 front i dont expect my tires to last very long I used l-tuned shocks and l-sportline springs.

what about the tire wear? wont the low psi kill the life. and at that psi i might be riding on the sidewalls...

you can also short the bulb or remove it...

i dropped my car 1.2/1.4...i just got my car aligned and it is out of spec. I am assuming that all dropped cars will not be in spec...?

I have 19" rims with BFG tires. The max is 50psi. Is this what I should try to keep it at? I dropped my car a little and have staggered rims so I want to keep the maintenance on the tires so I dont have to replace them every 6 months.

According to my friend his car would start after a little break. but when he was driving on the freeway it completely shut off...no power steering no nothing.

can a car shut off if your chip senses a problem? my friend said his fuel pump went bad and his chip shut his car off on the freeway

There is an irritating squeaking noise from the ceiling of the car. I am assuming it is the sunroof seals...does anyone else have a similar problem. Should I just oil the rubber seals or is it coming from something else?

I have a hole in my headlight where the previous owner was messing around. I want to change the housing. Is the 300 and 430 the same?

This discussion has been ongoing since this forum started...you should read back and do a search. But since I did some searching of my own...here is what I found when I was looking for mods. Drop 1.2 front 1.4 rear (l-sportline which has eibach stamped on the springs) l-tuned shocks and struts all together the setup is about $300. Installation is about $150. If I were to do it again I would probably go with tein coilovers...I have no gap in the rear and 2 finger in the front. When I get my rims (19 Hp evo darks w/38 offset) I should be flush in the front and hiding my rear tire due to the increase in the overall diameter. tire sizes recommended by most is 275/30 rear and 245/35 front for a 8.5 front 9.5 rear rim. Don't forget to check into centering rings. Search for Polarg m4 lights. a member posted a nice pic of their front lights...good luck

my car shakes a little at idle...can this be from the low idle? at drive at a complete stop my car idles at 500 RPM. Is this my problem? It feels like the engine is not getting enough gas. How would I change the idle if that is my problem.
