    Have you tried using a matt finish silicon spray (dashboard shine) which deadens the glare slightly

    HI Nanet.....welcome to the Forum I would think that superficial wear and tear would not be covered by mechanical warranty and as such, there are several companies around that will refurbish wheel rims at little cost.

    the only other thing is whether the lever where the cables attach is slightly longer which is not allowing the lock to move over enough?

    Not sure but if you look in the handbook or even if you can hear where the relay is clicking when switching the air con on and off.

    Usually the track is pre-greased and introducing any other substances may just encourage a build up of dirt and grit.

    Would be tempted to pull the fuse to reboot the system to see if it makes any difference.

    Relay? or something that is being subjected to heat which is causing it to thermally trip-out?

    It sounds like tyre(s) to me...either a bulge in one of the tyre tread areas or a static imbalance which would easily be determined through wheel balancing and spinning the tyres to look for a bulge or mis-shapen tread area.

    Sounds like the rubber is a bit hard.....maybe hanging around in the parts department for some time? There is a small abrasive tool that you can rub over the blade and takes a small amount of the hard edge off that may help. Otherwise, try a different brand of wipers

    hairdryer and a scraper blade should do it

    sounds like you are missing a spacer behind the pulley which should keep it off the bracket. Look down the belt run to see if it aligns or if it is offset, this should confirm

    With that many electrical faults occurring, I would start with checking the battery for condition....if in doubt, replace the battery but check all the electrical terminals (security, condition) and earth leads first.

    Sounds engine related if its only between a certain rev range and not road speed. My thoughts would be a static imbalance on the crankshaft area...crank pulley, flywheel?
