  1. Double check the cables to the battery on both ends, Make sure they are clean and tight. Check the alt wire connections. Is your power steering pump leaking onto the alt ?
  2. It sounds like a recharge to me. I am no expert in the a/c field though. Just by experience over the years.
  3. Drive back to the original dealer. Or have them pay the dealer closest to you. I would just drive there and be done with it.
  4. www.taprecycling.com They will have the part. Ask them to send the set of bolts with it. You owe me a beer

  7. Change the differential gear oil (simple job) Just make sure you loosen the fill plug first. Set your emergency brake and release a few times ( this will adjust the indide drum pads if they are dragging. When was the last time you changed your rear brake pads ? Have you done a drain and fill on your tranny lately ? Just some quick thoughts..............
  8. You have to remove all the case screws and remove Top and Bottom case. Flip the changer over and there is a white plastic trip lever @7 o'clock on the circular gear under the pcb board. If the cd is stuck in the spindle the only way is to power it up and remove. If all else fails I have new and used factory replacement changers with warranty.
  9. the needles in my cluster dont work and i was wondering if a sc400 cluster would do the job. as far as the seat belts go, they are falling apart and im not going to pass my saftey check unless they get replaced. thanks for the help Get your cluster done here: http://lextech.org/osCommerce/index.php?cP...ee1d1e548457693
  10. I took it out a blew it out. Should I try to clean it with a liquid? If cleaning does not work, I'll replace it. Thanks for your help. I have heard you can dip it in rubbing alcohal then let it dry. But to be honest its a pretty cheap part so its probably worth it to just get a new one. Might help with MPG as well as performance. I think they sell refurbish ones, if you buy a refurb just make sure it comes with a warranty. J Have you ever reset the ECU ? TPS ? How do you do that? Disconnect the neg. battery terminal for 10 min. This will clear all the memory stored and the car will relearn driving habits of the driver. Maybe there is something stored in the ECU that is causing this HICKUP................

  12. I called and spoke to Han, who was very helpful. He told me that a strut bar for a 93-97 supra TT will fit on a 98 LS400. The only problem is it may not clear the engine and spacers may be required. I got the bar for $80 w/ $15 shipping. I'll let you know how it fits and get some photos of the new strut bar along w/ my intake, which I've been putting off taking pictures of. Happy to be of service
  13. Always willing to help a fellow lexus owner Are you going to remove the factory nav ? Do you want the factory headunit with cd controls ?
  14. www.taprecycling.com They will have it. You owe me a beer
  15. The speed sensor wire is violet/white pin 10 on the lL3 connector, I beleive you will find it behind the glove box. Behind the right kick panel. You really owe me a beer I usually never help with aftermarket. SPEED_SENSOR_DASH_WIRING.pdf
