  1. Well I'm sure they're almost all true! Oh and crazywakerboarder, don't feel bad I did the same thing trying to find my amp the first time, I even tore out my back seats! Would a 1990 LS400 also have it under the front seat? I need to replace mine or repair it. The ls400- only has a 1 channel sub amp located behind tear trunk paneling to left of gas tank. The other 6 speakers amp is in the headunit. I have them both if you need .
  2. The ternzos are my fav ( love the deep lip ), IMHO they will look better if the car is dropped. The Konig wheels would handle the stock look better. Wheels are a personal choice. So go with what you like.
  3. You have to pull the code/codes before anything can be done. I think autozone will do it for free. But any shop should be able to do it. Okay thanks for the info. I'll get it checked out. I appreciate the help. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...?showtopic=3725 Thanks Sk
  4. $95 a/c recharge at a local CarX store and I'm chillin' again. No leaks detected. Thanks for the responses. Off to Florida! Stay cool and have a safe trip
  5. TAP pretty much said the same - that all the ones he gets in are already broken. Wap waaa. But, it's nice to know a good used parts dealer for many other things. I'll call the dealer for the part unless someone recommends a better source. In the meantime I plan on cutting off the rearmost piece as it is the part dragging after I managed to get one center bolt to hold. Thanks again. Dang, It was worth a shot......................
  6. Put it in power mode, Take the trac off. Use the brake torque technique. I do not reccomend brake torqueing. The whole idea is to get traction to the tires not to kick them loose. Burn outs are for warming up the tires prior to a race so they become sticky/soft for more traction. The only place a burnout is "cool" is at thr race track.

If you need an amp I have them with warranty.
  10. I concur, Sounds like the mounts. At least it is a inexpensive fix.
  11. I am sure it can be done in good taste, It is 100% a personal decision. Can you post some pic's of your friends father work ?
  12. You have to remove all the case screws and remove Top and Bottom case. Flip the changer over and there is a white plastic trip lever @7 o'clock on the circular gear under the pcb board. If the cd is stuck in the spindle the only way is to power it up and remove. If all else fails I have new and used factory replacement changers with warranty.

  16. The tranny fluid has to warm up to 153 degrees to run normal. So yes, It is normal to shift late when cold.

  18. :o Lives ? What's that ? Split
  19. Apart ( Looks like it's just you and I ) :o
  20. Change the differential gear oil (simple job) Just make sure you loosen the fill plug first. Set your emergency brake and release a few times ( this will adjust the indide drum pads if they are dragging. When was the last time you changed your rear brake pads ? Have you done a drain and fill on your tranny lately ? Just some quick thoughts.............. Fiddling with the E-brake seemed to do the trick. Strange...it didn't sounds like rubbing, it was almost like air whistling. I suppose I could have bumped the e-brake getting in...I bump the keyless entry on/off switch sometimes...although I'm not actually sure how! The e-brake should be used once a week or so, When it is used it automatically adjusts itself so when you really need it it WILL work. Happy to help you out.
