  3. Sweet as it gets, Love the top.
  4. Use only factory specified plugs, Stay away from aftermarket.
  5. GDixon - I believe you are right, but for the wrong reason. A piston goes through the same stroke, regardless of RPM. (eg: it doesn't "go beyond" when given more throttle.) :) Agreed 100%
  6. There is no break-in period. These cars are built to go top end from the factory. The best technology in the world goes into our cars. Back in the day when an engine was rebuilt , Either it went full throttle for a race or it didn't. Then it was fixed and the same procedure was in place, Either it ran or it didn't. Our cars have no problem running, They are overbuilt.
  7. LX400? Never heard of one :whistles: LS400 . The sensor is located on the drivers side of the transmission. It is very hard to find. I recommend a repair manual or go to your local auto parts store and ask to see the diagram in their parts catalog of that item. Usually, it will show you where it is located.
  8. If Rex is ever a bad boy you can always rename him B) , Or trade him in :o
  9. How about you name your lex and tell us ?
  10. The "kink" is fine, Personally, I use all genuine toy/lex parts.
  11. Dump some antifungual liquid down the intake vents on the bottom of the windshiels and run the ac/circ fan, Repeat as needed . It is fungus buildup in the vents/circulation/ac.

  16. Get 4 new tires and put this switch around thing in the past...................You will have another tire problem and wish this advise was taken in the first place..........................
  17. Make sure the timing belt/water pump/rad coolant/thermostat/plugs/ and all fluids/brake pads, etc... have been maintained. These cars can easily get 500k with regular maintenance kept up. Keep it clean, change the oil every 5-7k and ride the wave. Enjoy your lexus for many , many years..........
