  5. Wausau, Wisconsin here I go through Wausau 3-4 times a year on my way to Door County, The construction there is terrible. It's been going on for 15 years ??? Are you taking 2-51-10? or 45-10? Door county huh? I think that must be the coldest peninsula in the world!!!! But it is beautiful there. Iv'e been to Sturgeon Bay and Washington Island a few times. Isn't that where all the old ship wrecks are? I can't remember. Hwy 29 east/west Yeah there are plenty of shipwrecks in and around Deaths Door (between Gills Rock and Washington Island) The weather there in the summer is fantastic, It has it's own weather system being surrounded by water on all sides. Hwy 29 to Eau Claire from Wausau!! Made that trip many times. dc, it seems we have alot in common. I'm starting to think we may be related somehow...... "Go Pack Go" If you are from Wisco then we are related :D

  7. dcfish, you have outdone yourself with this selection. The Italian chef years must have been good! Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque 1996 Champagne. Was one of the best Vintage Champagnes ever. You see, Perrier -Jouet reviews the grapes each year. And once in a very rare year, the harvest is considered so excellent, that he declares a vintage Cuv'ee Fleur de Champagne that year. 1996 was that year. My dad brought a bottle.....the bubbles just melt in your mouth like silk. Cristal and Dom are good, but I think they just have mass class appeal. Thanks smooth1, I have the opportunity to taste anything on the market. In fact I have a wine tasting @4:00 today, We are rebuilding our wine menu and I am always willing to participate. I will push for a wider champagne selection for sure.

  21. GDixon - I believe you are right, but for the wrong reason. A piston goes through the same stroke, regardless of RPM. (eg: it doesn't "go beyond" when given more throttle.) :) OK, final rebuttal. <_< The pistons under normal temperatures do indeed go through the same stroke unless the rod bearings are loose or worn. The pistons do not touch the cylinder wall but the rings do instead. My point, as was originally stated, involved the piston rings which have a built-in tolerance so that they will move in the lands regardless of the piston temperature. Metal does expand when heated as you probably know. That results in a bit of wobble which is even a bit more evident when the engine is cold since the design is for them to expand when warm. (The rings get larger and the land gets smaller since the walls of the piston heats up first along with the top.) It is also a fact that the connecting rods slightly lengthen when the engine runs hotter causing the stroke to be longer by enough to cause the rings to hit a pre-existing worn lip at the top of the stroke. That could cause ring damage in extreme cases. Apologies accepted in advance. BTW, if there is a better explanation, rather than sniping, let 'er rip. :) You have to take into consideration that the materials used in the engine components have been taken into consideration during design phase. Expansion/Contraction #'s are well within tolerances for longevity of the toy/lex engines. Buy the car, Drive it any way you want, Maintain it within your driving habits.
  22. Call the lex dealer and get the plug spec for that year. Then you will be able to get the plugs online for less $ from an online dealer.
