  1. I got a Diagonostic code P0715 (Input Turbine Speed Sensor Malfunction). So they found that the Transmission Input Speed Sensor is faulty. I have a 2000 GS300 and I was wondering how difficult it was to replace this on my own? Anyone ever done this? I have to do it this weekend so I can travel on Business Sunday night. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks RJ
  2. How many miles did you get out of your pads before you needed to change them? I think my 2000 GS300 front pads need to be changed soon. I have 63K on them. RS
  3. On the same note, I too just became owner of a 2000 GS300 and noticed that the manual and gas cap say premium unleaded only. Is it terribly important to only put premium in and when I say premium I refer to 91 octane or higher? Is there anyone out there that has always used regular unleaded and has been just fine? On the other side is there anyone out there that has experienced problems with using regular unleaded? I am new to Lexus so I wanted to ask some owners with experience. Thanks, RS
  4. I just became an owner of a 2000 GS300 with 62K miles on it. The front brake pads have not been changed on the car since it was new. Can anyone tell me how long factory front brake pads last on a brand new GS300? They are not making any noise yet but I assume they should be getting close, right? If they do need replacing, I want to throw something on there that is going to last a while (in respects to how long brake pads can last). Can anyone make some suggestions as to the type of pads I should replace the factory ones with? Also does anyone have a link to information on changing the front brake pads on a GS300 (I've changed pads myself on a Honda Accord and I assume it is similar)? I look forward to your replies. Thanks, RS
