Hey, does anyone know if those radar jammers really work? I heard an advertising for one that they will pay a speeding ticket if you get one....I've heard of thise for the K40 radar detector but not a jammer, I think it's called a phaser something...Has anyone heard of this product or ones like it? And does anyone know if they work? Thanks, any advice is much appreciated.

My friend just went to the dealer to ask about the auto lock feature they had no idea what that was... Could someone verify the autolock through C-BEST? I went to the dealer and asked to, the guy said it's actually not an option on the IS because if you leave the key in the car the car will unlock itself so you don't lock your keys in the car (it works I've tried it...With the spare around lol) and plus I haven't seen it advertised on the Lexus website where they tell all about the IS, but at least we still have that cool little button on the handle :D

But at least we know it's doing it's job

That's pretty cool, but then where would I put my sunglasses lol. :P Ok so let me get this straight....The alarm can be installed, and it can be integrated with the IS keyless key (you know that thing lol) So that way you won't have to carry around two of them? Wait who else can install it aside from these people and your Lexus dealership...T%he friend that did my tint has an autoshop where he does alarms and sound systems and stuff...Could he do this as well? But then you would be messing wiht the IS remote so you would have to know something about Lexus cars/keys...So I guess Lexus would be the only choice, and they would charge top dollar, correct?

No, it justt depends on the tint quality and the quality of the job. I had my SC400 it was a 93 and the tint never bubbled or anything....Plus even if your tint does start to bubble you should have a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. looks great... im going this sat-day for tint i know this guy, he did my excursion for a good price and did a great job also he offers life time warr. on tint. im going to get the darkest tint i can find, it adds to the sleek stealth look im going for (black on black on black on black). is right, but it looks good.

Hi I was wondering on the IS 350 and the 250 is the alarm a quality alarm or will it just sound if the door opens from the inside. My friend has a 350Z and said that if someone breaks his window the alarm won't sound....There have been several attempts on breaking into his car and the alarm has never gone off, he says that the alarm on most cars is just a keyless entry and pretty much only goes off if the door is opened fromt he inside while locked....And he is investing in a viper alarm, which is supposedly pretty high tech...So is the Lexus alarm like this?( I mean Lerxus is a better quality machine then Nissan) I would assume it would be better and more sophisticated for the amount of money we spent on these beautiful cars....So how effective are the Lexus alarms? Any help would be great, thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, sometimes on my IS 350 I take a turn (pretty fast) but the yellow light flashes on the bottom right of my dial cluster....Does that indicate that the traction control is kicking in? And then sometimes the yellow light flashes and it beeps....What does the beeping signify? Thanks for any answers!!!!!!!!!!11

Congrats on your beautiful new car My front and rear windows are both 30 percent, but the rear windshield is 15 percent making the car darker inside but making it still legal. I don't know what the legal percent is in california but there is a link posted in one of the other threads about the legal tint percentages for every state... I would go with what is legal and thern put 15 on the back to cast a shadow. As for the kinds of tint I would go with llumar (that's what I have) or 3M tint. Both are great brands with lifetime warranties. It doesn't make a difference how dark in percentage you go because they all keep out the same amount of heat and UV rays...or at least I know that's the story with Llumar tint. Good luck with whatever you choose...No matter what Iam sure it wqill look great....Post some pictures after you get it done!!!!!!!!! The SAT button is there because the stereo is XM / Sirius ready. It doesn't necessarily mean that it has already been installed. The button is there so that once the Sat Radio is installed, it can function through your existing Lexus installed stereo. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OK that makes sense, just thought that is was already SAT ready, which would make sense but ok thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey I just got my IS 350 tinted, my dad knew a guy so I got a really good price, all four windows are legal 30 percent but it's lower because of the tint already on the IS windows from Lexus, and I went 15 percent on the rear windshield. I got the llumar tint. I couldn't be happier with it!!!!!!!!!!!! Here are some pics:
