  2. No, i have same issue, my mechanic told me to leave it alone since i have 362K miles. he did mentioned, you have to take steering wheel off and fix wiring/spiral etc. to much labor cost. Hope that helps.
  3. I have tiny oil leak(Rear main seal) in 97 ES300 after 360+K miles. If it's small, you shouldn't worry about it. it's not worth to fix. Today I replaced oil with Valvoline Maxlife synthetic blend 10W40. I heard it's good for leaks. lets see what happen? Thanks,

  5. it's easy to remove rear seat. most likely rear sway bar bushing needs to replace. remove rear seat and drive if noise is still there, now you know what else to look for. Hope that helps.
  6. both sensor are same. I bought from Toyota for $110 each. Call toyota for 99 V6 camry. I replaced both at same time at 242K+ and O2 sensors are still works great at 360K+

  8. I got an offer from vendor for $225 (PPG Glass) Tomorrow he is coming to replace the old windshield. hopefully he does a good job so there is no leakage or wind noises. Thanks
  9. Hello, My 97 ES300 is still running like New with 360,000 miles. I noticed that windshield needs to replace. It is not broke but thousands of tiny dots from hitting sands, rocks etc… Please share your experience. Thanks,
  10. I don't remember but i bought 4-5 boxes. Since its not giving any problem why should change? but you are right. web side showing both meets DEX-III specs.
  11. Thats the one, I am using Castrol domestic car trans. fluid which is DEX-III My car has 359,600 miles with the original transmission. Secret: Every 15,000 miles drain and fill. After the next 15,000 miles (30,000 miles total) I change the filter, drain, and fill (Which my mechanic does for me.) Hope that helps.

  15. I cleared code again, now showing P1411 and P402, you are right on changing Positioner sensor. I bought from Orailly cost was $35. lets see what happen. while i was cleaning last evening i noticed postion sensor was not pushing smoothly. Thank you for all inputs.
  16. Thank you George, I opened EGR today, Cleaned it was not that bad carbon build up. Opened Temp sensor, which was dirty, After installed, I got CEL back, Run code again, got P402 only. It's time for new. its serve for 358K not bad at all. Toyota asking for $204 with 1 year warrenty. Orailly asking for $174 with lifetime. Which one to buy? After cleaning why P402? Thanks,

  18. Not long ago, I posted for Hesitation(Pulsing) and EGR cleaning. Today I got CEL at 358,220 miles. Codes are P402 and P1410. What should I do? Buy new or clean it. How to clean? Thanks in advance.

  20. I can't beleive this, let me confirm 100% but looks to me that oil leak is stop... Today I checked clamp which hold Cat. Conveter by main seal, it's dry.
  21. I alredy tried that, yes it did help to slow down. Thank you for sharing. I just replaced oil with 10W40 High Mileage, Hope oil stop leaking. Thank you.
