It's always something, isn't it! Sorry. My daughter had a flat tire in the Memphis area and AAA told her it would be 3 hours before they could get there. Arrrrrrrg. Some nice man changed it for her. We only belong to AAA to get discounts on hotel rooms. It is amazing what new tires can do for a vehicle.

I hope there are few enough people there that I can talk with some folks and get some of my concerns addressed. I wonder where my sub-woofer is and if it is an easy replacement?

I think after 2 months (to the date exactly) I have finally gotten my stereo tuned to my satisfaction. I was really disappointed in all the distortion I had. Today I turned off the surround sound. Ahhhh...what a difference that made. My car is supposed to have 18 speakers, but it always sounded like all the vocals were coming out of the center front speaker no matter how I adjusted it. It sounds much better now and I can crank up the bass. Anybody have any other suggestions that will help me get the volume I want without much distortion? I guess Lexus didn't expect it's owners to be listening to bands like Godsmack and Theory of a Deadman at almost full volumn. :D

Welcome Anita! I'm not very mechanical either. I buy them new and trade them before the warantee runs out. Teeheehee...... Congrats on the new ride. You will have to post a pic.

I tell you...for some strange reason it is getting harder and harder to find the cars I want. I never could find a 1:18 scale of my 370Z. You would think those would be a dime a dozen. Had to get a really cheap looking 1:24 scale. Never could find anything but a DUB of my G37. I actually ordered one of my '95 Z28 from a Chevy dealership. It is plastic, but just like my car. I'll ask next time I'm at the Lexus dealership if they can get one. I'm sure they will just laugh at me.

I collect toy cars. I have always loved them. I have been able to find a toy car for all of the cars I have owned lately. I have Googled and Googled and am having no luck finding a replica of my car now. Any suggestions?

I went to one station this a.m. and the mid-grade (what I'm using) was $3.89. I did a U-turn out of the station. At lunch I went to Kroger's and paid $3.29! Crazy. Depends on where you go. I belong to Costco and they are cheaper than anybody, but out of my way.

Is it under warrantee? Have them do a sniffer test.

Well kudos to LOC. It was really a very simple procedure! I actually have 4 choices. #4 is a very pleasant female voice that just tells me that I have an incoming phone call. Yippee! That tone I had would make you jump half out of your seat. Thanks guy. Oh and BTW, Lexus of Memphis has a 2 hour class once a month to teach you about all your features. I'm signed up for June 15th so maybe I will be able to answer some of your questions. ;)

Go park it in their service area and smell it up! Sorry girl. I know how hard it is to be taken seriously. I had a G37 that was only a year old and the brakes squealed so bad that I was embarrased to take it to a Sonic! It only happened in reverse. They wouldn't do anything because they couldn't "duplicate" the problem. I took a video and threatened to put it on You Tube. You are just going to have to think of a way to make them listen.

I'm loving my Lexus. Can you believe that I was actually looking at a Corvette when I stumbled upon this car. Teeheehee...quite a different animal for sure. I love a convertible but swore I would never have another ragtop. I had a Honda S2000 for 4 1/2 years. Once I saw this car, I knew I had to have it.

I agree. The only Mitsubishi I ever owned was a '78 Dodge Challenger. I can't say it was that great of a car either. I stick with Honda, Nissan and now Lexus.

It is funny you say that. I have 1111 songs on my iPod and it seems like my car is always playing the same few songs. Hmmmmm....any body have an answer?

The way I listen to my radio, I won't be able to hear seats! ;) I almost always have my air on auto. So easy to control and works great to compensate for the top being down. I can feel mine blowing on 3. Not a whole lot...but I can feel it. They do get nice and chilly. That might change when the temps reach 100 and the humidity reaches the same!
