    Looks really good. May need to seal it with some kind of wax. Should help your work last longer.

    Sorry I have never rebuilt one of these units. Not sure I can help you with the valve problem. Is it possible it is in backward?

    To bleed the system. 1. Fill with atf to cold line. 2. Start engine. 3. Rotate stearing wheel lock to lock 10 to15 times. Do this slowly and do not hold at end of lock. 4. Check atf in tank. Fill to hot mark. 5. Repeat until fluid level stabilizes. Now there will be bubbles in the fluid. This is where the car has to sit for the foam to dissipate. This is gonna take some time, so be patient.

    Do you mean bleed the system? To remove air from the lines?
