  1. I understood the first part an them I didn't know what you were saying? But ill check there to.
  2. Okay ill try them.. I don't have a lot of salvage yards were I'm at so I'm trying to ask out an hope someone has one or can point me were I can find them fairly affordable. $300+ at the dealer is a lot so if I can find it cheaper
  3. Does anyone have a shift solenoid E. Name SL. OR SLU solenoid from toyota, its the same one as 93-98 Supra TT. AN I'm looking for, SRS airbags. Driver an pass..
  4. The map sensor was not all the way put in after fixing the p/s vac' problem.. sounds like map. An yes same characteristics of TPS problems
  5. Just my 2cents. Does it have a Check ENG Light?? If not, its a Vacuum leak. The smoke is un-burnt fuel of it flooding an pulling old carbon in as if you were seafoaming the motor... The miss will happen with spark loss an just a simple stupid vac' leak.. you might say no. But its true.. take your time an go an check all hoses " brake booster" being one an start.. if nothing good. check if the map is piped correctly an no minor leaks there. If you have anymore questions feel free to Email me for more trouble shooting on this.. ill be glad to help. LemboMods@yahoo.com
  6. I just traded up to a '96 LS. an one thing I know is getting someone else's problems.. NO PROBLEM TO ME... Everything that was wrong I fixed an I only spent 120+ dollers in parts. From 2 new cat converters, transmission service/tune up, map sensor problem, an so on.. BE PATIENT WITH THIS CAR.. Don't go crazy " AN DON'T SETTLE FOR 1.500$$ Crap from the dealer... Relax an get knowledge on where to go an Pay. I hate seeing people on here say ( the car don't drive smooth or won't do this or that... Get a obd2 diagnostic computer an do it yourself an save. Beat the system of needing to take it to the dealer.....
  7. I'm new owner of a '96 Lexus ls400 an I've been through this site/fourm for quite a while, before I got the car an till now.. I wanted to get familiar with the site an car before I post on here... To Start off now the car runs great an I raced an beat a newer GS the other day. So no problems.. but One Thing... Here it goes!!! It shifts perfectly fine and drive Smooth... Only one problem code, ( shift solenoid E electrical ).. checked inside transmission with the pan off and a little on the outside wireing an cleaned them. I Took out shift solenoid E in cleaned it as well an assembled the filter an pan, then erased the codes an the " shift solenoid E electrical " Stays.. Theres no momentary erase an come back its just there.. The electrical code remains. Any ideas?? It's hard to check the wireing for the tranny on the outside it being routed towards the top and so close on the floorbords I can't see. EDIT, sorry was sleepy when I posted this.. after seeing what I put down, Haha. Sorry.
