  1. Mazalan, Mexico is the place to vacation in Mexico...Mexico is a dump in my opinion, and you will probably return with Monta Zuma's revenge and end up on the toilet swigging down Imodium D if your not careful... If you are going for a vacation in winter then go Hawaii....If your looking for winter destination try Utah or Colorado for skiing and National Parks.. If you have the means to go International Costa Rica is not too shabby, you can check out the Rain Forrests and go to the beach.. Samoa Island is the nicest beach destination I have ever been too and I have seen alot... Jamacia is good time too... Florida has the nicest beaches in the US... Depends on your interests... Butt Chin..... Hmmmm? Smelly Odors :o
  2. Those cars you guys mention may have the horsepower to match up with a custom built twin Z06 Corvette or Z07, but I dought they posses the traction and drivetrain setup to keep up.... Heck, there are many Supra's sporting 700-900 horsepower and still run just 12's in the quarter mile... Horsepower alone does not tell the whole story... A built Z07/Z06 is vertually unbeatable against all other street legal beasts, I kid you not...
  3. I just seafoamed my Toyota Landcruiser today...The idle and the throttle responsiveness improved... Seafoaming is king......
  4. DC you always throw me off on these word associations...Motorcycle and London Bridge??? Hmmm Other then the nursury ryme "London Bridge is falling down, falling down..Etc" which is common with motorcycles I don't get it... Passage
  5. He's going to Arizona... Motorcycle
  6. If I had a million bucks and could buy one car I would buy a new Z06 Chevy Corvette for speed, then custom twin turbo it...Maybe even a Z07 Vette (then install all the basic mods) that is if I could find one for a reasonable price. I wouldn't want to spend more then $100,000 because I am a cheap *BLEEP*...It would be hard pressed to find any street sportscar that would beat those out.... :) You couldn't modify a Lexus or BMW to hang with those Vette's.....Maybe an M Model BMW with some serious mods but I still dought it, and definetely not a lexus..Too heavy and the rear ends are way to light in weight... Love the SC Lexus's and for sure it would be the most reliable out of all the cars I mentioned above..
  7. But won't the acceleration be a lot quicker? The acceleration is not quicker from launch, but if your running on the freeway and hammer the gas then yes the transmission will respond just a bit quicker... l
  8. Tech stocks
  9. Silicon :P
  10. Lucas oil treatment is great for older engines and maybe newer engines too...As far as using Lucas products to clean carbon buildup I would not go for it.... Seafoaming is the way to go..
  11. The ECT (power button) kicks the shift downs quicker and carries a slightly higher rpm band before shifting..Good for responsiveness but does not make the car any faster...
  12. Try Ebay, recycler.com, etc.....You may have to wait for mailing time...Good luck...Junk yards are really your best bet...
  13. The piggy back ECU is a little computer box that wires right into your existing cars computer which allows you to control and adjust the air and fuel mix which is being delivered to your motor...The Apexi piggy back ECU allows you to tune and adjust the air fuel mix being delivered to your motor. The idea is to increase or adjust fuel and air flow for peek performance which the stock computer cannot do alone... The stock ECU (cars computer brain) is under tuned at production and there are good horsepower gains to be made with a Piggy back ECU and proper tune.... Once the Piggy back ECU is wired in an installed you will then be able to alter the fuel and air mixes thru the use of a Dyno test, Apexi plug and play, and a monitor and computer...Not a big deal for most tuners... That is the best as I can describe it...I gained approx. 10whp or 15hp with my installed and tuned piggy... You may have heard of a "computer chip" for cars to ad performance, but really all that is a piggy back ECU... Exhaust - 2.25 inch madrell piping is the best proven size for our SC4's... The 2.50 inch bent exhaust piping will work too and is a cost effective second choice that should yeild you some gains... When it's time to mod your exhaust just look at the exhaust system and think of a way with a muffler mechanic to help increase flow thru the system...Stream lining the piping is best.. Bends, curves, abrubt turns like at the Y's stops flow... Torque converter - Any transmission shop should be able to perform a torque converter swap...A good price to have the job done would be about $300...They do have to drop the tranny to perform the swap... Bust out the Yellow pages in San Diego and call all the tranny shops for the best pricing...
  14. Galena??? Are you refering to the city in Illinois, or the mineral?.... How does that correspond with rooster and Hen? DC you lost me on this one.....
  15. If you wanted a smoothe ride you should have bought an Escalade or Navagator...Those SUV's you can fall asleep while driving they are so cosy... I am suprised to hear that the Lexus is offering you a bumpy ride..That stinks... Tire pressure is not going to change the suspension feel that much.... I would talk to the Lexus dealer about this and see what they have to say about it...
  16. Toysrme what's up man!!!! Didn't know you were on this forum... I pop in every now and then... As far as purchasing seafoam I could not find it in any of the local auto parts store so I bought two bottles off Amazon.com... I seafoamed my SC400 just the other day and it blew off my heads, threw a rod, and cracked a piston....Oh and the seafoam was so potent it even cracked the block but other then that it worked great..... :P JUST KIDDING....Good stuff....
  17. I agree the Mercedes have more s*x apeal then any of Lexus's.... The 500 series and AMG's look pretty sporty too me.... Engineering and reliability still goes to Lexus though....
  18. Condoms are the worst...A pain to put on when the time is right, and a mess to take off when it's over...I would rather toss off.... But then again I would hate to pee fire or get aids...I think I will become a Budda Monk or Priest to avoid this delema... Rooster Hen
  19. Rediculous I saw that on the news last night...2 year old smoking weed that's just not right.... "Tapas" Spain
  20. Congrats on reading all 11 pages, that's a feet all by itself..... The straight thru Megans are cost effective, perform the best, but are loud...Oval mufflers are what I recommend for most, they are a bit less noisy...The Rod Millen exhaust I am sure will be wonderful, but even better if your willing to pay big bucks would be the Blitz Nur exhaust systems... Either one you can't go wrong... Nice job - your 92 is same color as my 96 sc 400. the intake U put together is nice - I think Millen makes a complete intake for 92-95. i like all the pics it's a great look'in ride. However the 96 I'm riding has little chance of getting an air intake (unless it's custom) so it appears stock is where i stay at least for now - there's NO sence in improving 1 end of the air flow w/o doing the other. wpk813 Thanks for perks on my 92 ride...It motors very well.... The 96 is a better car to build up then mine, got a few more ponies at stock over the 92's... THe BFI is custum self made intake design... The stock intakes flow decent, so any intake mods you do you will not feel a difference....If your looking for power gains look into cost effective exhaust mods...
  21. Your handling will be much improved over stock with your coilovers and rims... Best mod on your list would be the Torque converter upgrade...Precision Industries "Dragon T.C." or Lextreme.com torque converters should do the trick for you...That mod alone will make your lexus bolt 0-40mph...Night and day over stock.... Forget about the Pod filters (they suck in too much engine heat which robs horsepower) Go with the BFI intake design found at (planetsoarer.com)..It's a cheaper alternative and works even better then my intake design... Forget about the LSD (rearend) until you get the adequate horsepower and torque converter change to even get those rears spinning from launch.. Very good improvements can be found with simple exhaust mod's...Highflowing cat converters, high flowing mufflers, high flowing Y's, headers and larger rear mandrel exhaust piping will yeild you some very nice topend gains... The stock Lexus exhaust systems are very restrictive.... Lastly for $500 an Apexi SAFC piggy back system installed and a good engine tune may give you as much as 10 or 20hp gains... All topend... Hope that helps...
  22. The Grand Canyon :o
  23. People can also choke and barf on a peice of sea weed when eating Sushi and then maybe even get the runs afterwards.... Let's just say I am not a big fan of Sushi...... I like to live dangerously too, but that's suicide... Sun B)
