  1. IS uses the hight beam headlights as DRL with a resistor to lower the voltage. The high beams are 9005 bulbs. I kinda think your LED is not gonna work in that application.
  2. Host the pic someplace like photobucket and then use the img tags to link to it.
  3. The IS 300 already has HID so it should only need bulbs unless something in the HID system has gone bad.
  4. You can't really say nobody. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...showtopic=25999
  5. I believe the Sport Design package was about $1300 extra so it doesn't add that much to the price of a used car. I'd say $17,500 tops. Even if it's like new. My 02 was pristine and wholesaled for $17,500 almost two years ago with 37,000 miles on it.
  6. Take it back. You deserve it.
  7. IS 300 Sport Design http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews/sedan...07_lexus_is300/
  8. That's the way to go. I can't see anything improving on that especially at the price. I had one on the IS300 and have the same setup as you on the 350.
  9. Actually there are little teenie tiny flat wireless speakers inside the visors and the slots are where the sound comes out.
  10. Not worth it unless you place high value on intake noise.
  11. Was that recall only for the 06 or for the 07 as well? I think it was just for the earlier 06 models.
  12. People say the wiring is there in the 07 models. One thing you gotta make sure to have the dome light set to come on when you open the door or the scuff plates won't light up.
  13. I was thinkin of changin da all da front lights on my es300 92 as well. shud i b followin da same recommendation? I dunno the ES headlight assembly but all you need to do is find how to access the bulbs from behind.
  14. Are the LED's plug and play replacements for the regular bulbs?
  15. Dealer called me the other day to see if I'd had the seat belt recall done. That was nice. I'd already got the notice in the mail some time ago.
  16. Look at it this way: First the pedal moves, then the electronic throttle has to move, etc. You just can't suddenly shove that much more gas/air mixture into an engine in a milisecond. It might take a milisecond and a half. The engine has to get more air and the fuel pump has to pump more gas and the injectors have to cycle, and that's not all just instantaneous. It's actually a sequence of events that have to happen.
  17. This should work for you: http://my.is/forums/f89/brake-pad-rotor-re...ttached-255699/
  18. Try mashing the gas pedal just a teenie tiny bit slower. Most any car will bog if you slam it to the floor under some conditions.
  19. Not as long as you have documentation that the maintenance was done and with approved parts/fluids.
  20. Use premium gas as recommended. There are many posts here on this already.
  21. i dont think its the bent wheel.... both right side of my wheels are bent.... lexus service manager told me that if i dont change those wheels ill be having a vibration on high speed... i never felt that vibration even on high speed... mine runs smoothly slow or high speed.. Depends on how the wheel is bent, but if it is you can see that when it's on the balance machine.
  22. http://www.partsamerica.com/Maintenance/Ma...ireProblem.aspx Tire wear problems and vibrations only get worse with time and the symptoms you describe will also get worse as the wear continues. The dealership can do tests and check suspension parts without driving the car. They need to check all that out and replace or correct parts till the get the problem fixed. To give them a little boost, perhaps you should be talking to the district service people who can give the dealer some help in solving the problem. You can do the bounce test yourself to test the shocks.
  23. Dealership maintenance isn't cheap but you can do much of it yourself or get it done somewhere else at a better price. Some Toyota dealers will do maintenance for less.
  24. No matter where you put it, someone will find a way to block it.
