I use to have that phone with my IS 250 and it wouldnt auto connect with the car. Its the phones problem not the car, i recently just bought a samsung slider and works just perfect

I am interested in getting this mod done to my car... Does anyone know of any good sites to order these from, i really want the best deal. I just want them for the front, and does anyone know if this mod is possible on an IS 250 w/o the luxury package. thanks

ya i experience that same feeling, when u punch it, it takes a second and than starts to accelerate, i wonder if its like that with the 350 as well... try it in the semi manual... it seems more responsive to me a little..

ya most spoilers are to high and block the brake light, but because the lexus is spoiler is more of a lip, it is low enough where the other drivers can still see the brakelight

I am interested in getting an intake and exhaust.. Do these void your warranty? I know replacing the headers void the warranty but do these ?

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any such feature on the IS (nor have I read about one). But if its not too far off topic, can you tell me more about the BMW feature? It sounds like you're describing an exhaust "cut-out". I didn't know BMW's had this either. Is it a stock feature or possibly an aftermarket add-on? Lastly, is it located before the muffler or on the muffler? I will say that cut-out's are typically absurdly loud (and at all RPM's, not just idle), so perhaps what you're referring to is some sort of resonator for certain frequencies. Kind of makes me think of the soup can mufflers (except I haven't seen one on any BMW's...not that it hasn't been done!). Man im not sure if i am explaining it to you right, since my friend has the 335 with the sports package... What he told me is that it has something to do with the muffler, and how a valve was closed at idle and at low rpms by unplugging the valve [something like that] it is always open therefore creates more noise...

the 250 is more like 7.5 0 - 60, while the 350 is 5.5 0 - 60... the 350 is much quicker in all terms, there is no comparison, if you arent going for complete speed and just want a little sportiness the 250 is fine

I know that on the Bmw 3 series there is a way to open a valve under the exhaust to make it louder at low RPM's and at idle. I realized that the IS 250 has ABSOLUTELY NO SOUND that comes out of the exhaust [just wind].. is there anyway to create more sound other than installing a new exhaust system? any small mods? thanks...

I agree with everyone. Go for the IS 350 if you want speed. If for some wierd reason you cant you could make the IS 250 faster by getting a intake, exhaust system, a chip, somehow a turbo and i have no idea , just go for the 350, that car is a beast...
