got the reflash done on June 4th, so far so good. Yes it still istn perfect, but its much improved, and i don't know if i'm just hoping for this, but the car feels ever slightly more powerful ;) Either way, its much improved from before, but Lexus is still in the passionate proof of perfection, it could still be better I'm happy with it though Imran -

hey guys I'm getting about 380-390 kilometers to the tank. Is this normal? I'd say its about 90% city driving and I don't usually push on the thing much. It seems kinda low to me, I put in only 94 octane sunoco gasoline. Should I be getting more or do you think its because of the high amount of city driving? How much does everybody else get to the tank? its an 05 es330 later

I'm happy with the sound level of the car, but I might dynamat the thing to get some better sound quality and possibly lower road noise a bit. I get the stuff for cost so it'll cost me a fraction of retail, cuz dynamat is retardedly marked up. Just for curiosity, i'm gonna buy a small spray can of the quiet car stuff and find out if its a scam or not (itll cost me like 20 bucks, worth a shot) I shall let you all know how it works (or doesnt)

HAs anybody ever tried this quiet car stuff www.quietcar.net ? If so, any feedback as to how good it works? The car is so quiet as it is but there is a fair amount of tire roar because of the 17" tires. The idea of this car being quieter is scary but interesting.. :) thanks

I am 20 years old. I love the car, looked at the G35 as well, the interior was better on the _________ <--- put any car name here I just wish I got the wood steering wheel,:chairshot: I got the shift knob, but looks like I'm gonna be sending it to american stitches to get the wheel Imran

Thanks for the reply. I heard that Rockford Fosgate amps have the soft turn-off feature. I think I'm gonna try them out, although I'm surpirsed Infinity would not have this feature

I got an infinity 10" subwoofer and an infinity amplifer (a310) installed today and the subwoofer lets out a 'pop' or boom noise every time the car s turned off. I hate it! It's wired to a stock head unit and the installer said that it is going to do that because of that. Can I alleviate this problem in anyway. I hate it so bad that I will return the sub/amp if I cannot get that shut down 'pop' to go away. (although I really like the clean bass)

You got the wood steering wheel, I so should have gotten it, but I didn't want (or want to pay for) the navi Jealous...very jealous...lol Its not diificult to take care of a car, take pride in it!

Yea the increasing downforce comment is just laughable but i do think it would look nice, maybe i'll get one when the weather gets better

How much would a spoiler like amf1932's run for? I know i would have to get it painted, but i think it would look nice, subtle addition to an already subtle car

I like the idea of changing some (mainly interior) lights to LED. Where can I get these? The pure white of the LEDs look very clean

I have a 2005 ES330 Is there such a 'mod' to add side mirror turn signals similar to the mercedes c-class? If so, does anybody have a price or a link where I can get them?

Has anybody seen a skirt package for a 2002+ ES? Something subtle like the camry se's package; and will the camry's fit on the ES? If anybody has or knows of any 'kitted' ES's please direct me to pictures or where i can get something like that.. Thanks

Lol owners manual I finally pulled it out and went through the entire thing. Found out somet interesting things, like the fact theres a volume knob for the beep when you lock the doors...neat.

Yes it is still there but you learn to live with it. It's not as bad as some people may make you think (although it should be fixed). You just have to kinda learn how to use the gas pedal. On odd and few occasions has the car given me any sort of abruptness, it is still a very smooth and classy vehicle. I did read that not all fo them have this problem and the ones that do can have something like a ECU reflash to eliminiate it. Anybody heard about this?
