I absolutely love my seats and do not experience any discomfort whatsoever and they are heated/vented. Maybe its different body types but I could fall asleep in mine, not that I ever have :whistles:

Does anybody know of any place other than l-tunedparts.com (which charges a ridiculous amount.) And does anybody here have a lip kit on a 02+ ES? I really like the l-tuned one but its so darn expensive.

I dunno but I heard Toyota/Lexus had a different type of ignition system that takes a little longer than most cars...I'm not sure if that is true but somebody told me that when explaining why it takes a little longer than an average car. I've noticed it a bit, but it fires up nice and strong everytime and runs great.

I agree, the tails on the 05's look classier. And I am of the few who actually like the styling of the 02-06 models, but this one really tops the previous generation. And in the review it says its among the quietest cars they've ever tested...GO LEXUS! And the transmission is all new, hopefully no more problems ;) And (I just keep going and going..lol) I think I'm gonna try and get those graphite rims, would look nice on the previous generation Ok im done ;)

ok well i'm still looking for a navigation unit and the eclipse avn5435 has caught my eye. can the lexus factory face plate that houses the oem navigation unit fit that, it is a 6.5 inch unit, and lastly what happens to my steering wheel audio controls? Do i just lose those? That would be pretty retarded if I added navigation and had buttons on the steering wheel that didn't work Anybody have any insight into this?

I'm in Canada guys and the transmission problem is definately there! I slow down and it seems to jerk forward on occasion like I have some sort of pressure on the accelerator pedal. It clunks into gear sometimes (definately not smoothly) and it has the stupid lag problem although I've learned to live with it. The thing that bugs me the most is when it seems to get lost and then clunk into gear :chairshot:

yep, aside from the transmission issue, the car is beautiful and near perfect :)

The ES looks a lot better in person just like most lexus' do.

Thanks for the responses so far guys I find although there is a woofer a substantial enough amount of midbass comes from the in door speakers, did the infinity's help the midbass? And also I had an Infiitny 10" sub and amp installed to the factory head unit and everytime i turned the car off the sub would pop, and the installer said it was due to using a stock head unit; so that ticked me right off lol and I had it removed. I know of someone who works at future shop (Best buy..same thing) and can get me an employee discount, has anyone had any experience with MB Quart speakers, they sell for a crazy price so I was wondering if crazy awesome sound accompanies that price. lol

Does anybody know what are the specifications for the in door 5.25 inch speakers i believe. I am looking to upgrade them if it is worth it. I do not want to buy an amplifier or change the head unit either, just some better speakers. Has anybody ever done this, and if so with what results? Any recommendations on what speakers to get? I'm willing to spend around maybe $250 CDN per pair if necessary. BTW its the stock pioneer system I am talking about the on 02+ ES. Thanks Guys

I'm afraid to see the new ES...Although each other car released (including the new LS) looks good, I fear the ES will somehow look even more like a camry. The rear of the camry looks exactly lexus like and I don't know what they are going to do to change that. The rear of the camry already looks like the rear of the LS, and the ES is a baby LS.

I don't think you can completely turn it off But even I do some spirited driving in my ES and it doesnt bother me <_< i'm glad it s there

No provision for a manual transmission for the 350 yet, and it is not in their plans yet. However they claim if the demand arises, they will consider it.
