Hey guys This is the first time i've had an auto climate system (05 ES), everytime its set to auto the A/C light is on (this has only been in the cold since I havent had the pelasure to drive the car in the summer yet ) Is it normal for the A/C to be on, i kno about the fact that it helps defrost faster, but the light is always on, doesnt that waste gas? Should I turn it off?

I heard the dealer can change some settings for the 2002+ ES series of vehicles. THing such as auto-lock or the auto off headlights or the mirror tild down when you put it in reverse. Is this true and does anyone know exactly what can be changed?

hey when i turn the wheel slightly to the left or right when the car is first started it make like a belt squeal type sound. THis only hapepens in the cold. I would like to take it back to get it looked at but my dealership is 40 km away and the car will be warm by then Do you know if this sound is normal? Does it happen because there may be ice or snow on some belt?

Hey stevieJ, can u post or direct me to a picture of your spoiler, and is it an aftermarket spoiler? About how much did it cost you with install?

Spoiler wouldn't be a bad idea, mainly because i like the thin brake led brake light. THe camry one fits fine?

How big is the Sub in the non ML 2002+ ES? I like the sound of the system but the subwoofer is just a little bit ummm......airy? huff and puff like? (i dunno how to explain!) Can i just replace the subwoofer and would it sound a lot better with the standard amplifier?

I agreee that Black Garnet is better. When I went to look at the cars (they finally came in!) black just seemed so boring, and didnt give it the elegance I would have thought. I originally chose black because I thought the contrast with the chrome would look superb, but for some reason the Black GArnet Pearl just looks so much richer, adn the chrome looks even better on it! BTW SW03ES, looking at your car also helped me solidify my decision :D

86 watts seems very low, even for a stock system (this is the standard system in the 2002+ ES) I dunno, seems either like its an underrated system or it might be horrible :( But with LExus Qualitly, i'm sure its awesome!! I know this is sort of a useless topic but im so excited to get my car!!!!!!!! Hows the sub in the system, any good at all? How do you compare the stock system (Non ML) to something like a premium sound system in an accord or an ALtima? (my last car was an Altima) I'm suppose to get my car tomorrow, its not black anymore though :( Well, its black garnet pearl, with the "Luxury Package" as its known here in Canada. I hate having to get the car in snow, i hope it clears up for tomorrow Anyways pictures will be posted as soon as possible! (Winter Pictures, i'll try my best to make it look good, although it does a pretty good job of that on its own ;) )

I don't know the full name of the salesperson I dealt with and I can't find his card I can tell you he was chinese, that might help when you go in there!? Hope that helps

Hey huys, about a week left till i get my car!!!! I bought my ES from Scarborough Lexus. I dealt with Henry. He's a nice guy and was helpful. The sales manager there is a real nice guy, he did whatever he could to put me into the Lexus. They haggle pretty good for prices. I believe i got a reasonable price. Pictures will be posted as soon as i get it i promise!
