  1. from what i know... the cd changer between the ES and GS are the same... and should fit interchangible.. at least thats what i heard from toyota when i was in the conquest of finding a 6 disk for mine.... eventually gave it up and switched the head unit to JVC... and am about to get a compatible 6 or 12 for that ... :magic:
  2. Coach edition wheels did not come in chrome... they are more of a polished aluminum.... B)
  3. @ 120 k ..... the car has been through more than you can think of..... yeah ... Struts can only take so much beating for so long...
  4. dude, that is a great deal..... ive seen what IS wheels go for ... and that definetly is a killer deal... And with tires... hell !!!
  5. you know its bad when it doesnt spring up properly... like bounces a lil to much.. just leans a lil too much... or makes a real funny sound.. make sure though your parking brake isnt up.
  6. Could be that your struts need to be replaced... or your springs have gone bad.... if you go the back or your car... and to the side your having problems.... push down on the car from that corner... if it doesnt push down and spring up properly... then you have suspension issues

  8. Im not a fan of GM... but Seville does have a nice ride... soaks bumps like nothing else.... Strait line driving ... as far as luxury goes.. the touring suspension on the caddy has got the LS beat.... but there is no cornering ability what so ever on the caddy... you turn, and it tilts like hell Seville's are actually pretty reliable, but ofcourse not nearly well built as the LS... the luxury features between the seville and LS dont compare.. caddy is cheap... the leather interior will start cracking immediately.. Power Steering is really nice as well on the caddy... but it has to be the car is a beast... Sound systems are pretty much both at top end.. when it comes to factory that is.... LS is alot... alot more for the money Go with the LS... Hope it helps

  10. lets not even talk about spills... back in the days when i was POOR... i hadda buick ... the previous owner musta been some fat mcdonnel devouring maniac... cause when i lifted up the mats... there were like mustard stains and god knows what everywhere... No luck in cleaning that...
  11. :D helloooo yeah .... i have an extra set of mats over the LEXUS ones, to prevent just that.. in my old car , i had to vacuum, scrub, power wash, and beat the hell outta them... then got some dirt out.... i know ... floor mat pick up dirt from everywhere and then like to keep it...

  14. other commons problems i hear of are.... sunroof leaks.... power antenna's going bad... speedo needles burning out not too many things... the car is pretty reliable if properly maintaned

No.... the car only stays in 3rd gear when overdrive is off...- light ON... when put in overdrive... then the car is allowed to go to 4th gear... these cars are 4 speed... there are only 4 gears continuos traffic under 35 mph ... the tranny is going back and fourth between 3rd and 4th... turning overdrive off just prevents that.... as sk said... unless your in hard core traffic that is really really slow moving with constant traffic lights.... dont bother to turn overdrive off...

  17. Hey, its not your battery ... Im almost positive that its your starter.... the gears on your starter are worn, thats why you have to turn your key numerous times until it catches on. if thats it... get a new one before you completely wear it and cant start at all...
  18. your leaking oil too buddy ? yeah i figured all that ... but when im driving my MOM's MINI VAN ! im like barely at 2OOO RPM's... i mean .. thats wack... maybe cause its a newer engine and all.... but still... <_<

  21. i checked the rotors are fine ! but there is a clicking sound that comes not from the steering wheel... but when i press on the brake... only when in going slow... so it should be a cv joint problem... right ? i would think... and i dont know for you all ... but as was asking before.... 2500-3000 rpm is ok goin 70-80 mph ? i mean i get good gas milage and all :D so i guess its all good... LOL im sleepy

  23. what is resurfacing a rotor mean ? i get this problem ocassionally too ..... and when im on the highway going like 70-80 my rpms are always 2500-3000 is that normal.... ?
  24. yup... once the rim size increases, that tire becomes useless.... i have the dunlops too! and just got 16's i hate to see them go good tires
