2008 LS460......valley plate leak
Greetings from a new 2008 Lexus LS 460 owner. Huge thanks to this website for helping me get a couple of critical things fixed namely the control, arms and rearview mirror whistle on the passenger door side. My model has 65,000 miles, and the owner sold it because the stealership wanted excessive amounts to service the car. So they just gave up on it. Handbrake warning light
Soo just picked up a 1999 gs300 and there is one issue with the car that is bugging me, when the car is started there are no lights on the dash, when I press the brake the handbrake light will come on and stay on until the car is turned off and on again, I have checked the brake lights and they all work fine, however they are all led, could the fact there are no resistors be causing this issue or could it be another bulb, ie reverse bulbs, number plate bulbs etc, any help would be awesome as thi
Rethinking Potential NX450h+ Purchase
If we had a local service center, we would probably already have the NX450+ in our driveway. The nearest Lexus dealer is 100 miles away but I travel that way about 2x/month. Then I started reading here. Parasitic draining of the 12v. Keep your fob in the house far away from your car. Get a trickle charger. Never use ACC. Replace the battery immediately. Then the run-flat tires are supposed to be terrible and also need replacing earlier than stated. Loved the this car esp the ride.

Alan Funk one of the original moderators of this forum is in poor heath. He loved solving problems & helping and talking all things about cars especially his 3 Lexuses ! He has a 2007 ES350 w/Ultra-Luxury Package. w/25,000 miles. Amber Pearl w/Cashmere interior. Its only been serviced by Lexus , parked in a private spot and babied…orginal owner of course! I’m wondering if anyone has interest? I haven’t listed this anywhere else as I felt it would be respectful to him for me to present it to the Lexus Owner Club members first.
