5V Source for Power Steering Pressure Sensor Switch

Hi,

I am getting a CEL for my Power steering Pressure Sensor switch. Tried to figure it out and found that it is not receiving 5V at the switch which I assume is due to a break on the wire. Can you please help and guide me to where i can get a 5V souce for the pressure sensor switch..
I am planing to disconnect the switch wires from the engine harness and connect them directly i.e. signal to the ecu, ground and 5V supply..

You may want to search for a wiring diagram. When you checked for 5 volts, was the ignition switch on the on position/car was running?

I have been trying to search the wiring diagram for 2001 GS300 but didnot found any thing on it and yes the ignition was on.
