troubleshoot1 Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 I have a 2007 RX350 with a serious oil leak. I have read and replaced the VVTi cooling line and still leaking. Notice after looking while engine running that the oil appears to be coming from the top of the oil pan lip on the engine not through the gasket. Can not imagine that this much oil could be working through the pan screw. Your thoughts. I guess I will remove the oil pan and hope this is the case, not a crack in the block.
lenore Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Did you have lexus replaced the oil line under the recall?
zieke Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 there is another oil line connected with 2 rubber hoses. they are under a tremendous amount of pressure. the new part comes with aluminum bent connections. If u haven't got the right one, do it before one of those rubber lines splits and pumps the oil out of the engine.
