09 Rx350 Transmission Oil Change

Anyone knows if i need to change transmission oil in my 2009 RX350. I could not find anything in the manual though. My car has 178k KMS.

My understanding is that the transmission is sealed. The transmission oil is a "lifetime" oil. No changing necessary.

Notice that there is neither a transmission dipstick nor a transmission drain plug.

That my friend is a sales pitch. I would get a fluid exchange and replace that fluid...

At 110,000 miles, I'd be tempted, all right.

There should be a way to either drain and replace the fluid or just have an exchange performed by a shop with the proper machine. I definately would have it done.

I can guarantee the fluid is not bright red.....at 89k mine on the RX400h was brown.....quite dirty.

Think long term if you have a nice car and change it;

Dealer told me that it needs to be replaced at 192k kms. So i guess i still have some time. Thanks everyone.

I changed mine once and the previous owner once. It's better to change it, oil will be dirty over time so it's a brainier to change it.
