Zdeno
Hi guys, I changed my motor mounts on Sunday by myself . I did this job on my 1991LS 168K and it tooks me about 3 hours in carport. I didn´t need to remove steering rack. All what I used was 3 jacks (2 sides and 1 engine) and 2 x 17mm nut (one pipe nut longer). I didn´t expect what the bad motor mounts can do. I figured out a lot of contraditions on my car.

93LSOwner
Quiet impressive. Where did you purchase the mounts from?
Zdeno
I bought mounts from here http://www.NewLexusParts.com for $195 both(free shipping + no tax). Dealer price was $ 125 per each. I figure out this - Start up is without jerk, Car doesn´t vibrate when I turning steering wheel, I don´t feel any vibrations before stop the car (on lights, parking etc.)

jzz30
just go for it you did the motor mounts. i think that was harder than suspension pieces. but maybe the cost is your nightmare :(
Zdeno
YEP you are absolutely right about cost
jimbostar
You might want to look at your tranny mount too, if your motor mounts were really shot, the tranny mount usually goes too. I too just did this work to my SC and it made a huge difference (did the hanger bearing also), but like you, I have the suspension to do next.
