1992 Ls400 Sloppy Shifter Need Console Removal File

Dear Members,

Has anyone taken out the console box in order to work on the shifter?

My shifter has left to right play, enough to bother me into fixing it.

I've gotten a lot of the parts off, but the box will not lift off.

Any assistance will be appreciated greatly!

I have looked over the topic..."console removal 1992 ls400" in the database and found nothing useful.

Can you dig into your Super Moderator database and find the instructions, as in "step by step"?

I will give you one rub on the Genie Lamp should you provide the answer.
