meyelexus Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 I just acquired a new 2013, black, RX 350 F-Sport. This is a tough and fast looking car with its new graphite color wheels. I have debated whether or not to have the calipers powder coated or painted either red or black to give this car an even sportier look. After exploring these options, I've learned that the best option likely would be installing a caliper cover. This is an easier option, and ultimately is reversible and will not affect the salability of the car in the future if a potential buyer is not as thrilled as I am about the idea of "red" calipers. There is a company out of San Diego (Chula Vista), CA that is a leading manufacturer of such caliper covers. Unfortunately, they have yet to create a new mold for the 2013 RX 350 F-Sport. If you have the new RX-350 F-Sport and are interested in allowing MGP (Marshall Genuine Products) to use your car for the measurement for this new mold, they suggested to me that they would be willing to trade measurements for a set of FREE calipers. MGP needs to have the car on premises to take measurements...I am out of Portland, OR otherwise I would allow them to use my car. This definitely seems like a "win-win" for the right lucky person out of San Diego that is first to respond. I hope that somebody in or around the San Diego area is as excited about this opportunity as I am!
