93LSOwner Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 I parked my 1993 LS400 beside me friends 1991 or 92 LS400 and mine was sitting lower. Both were parked on level pavement. Everything on my car is stock, as of what I think; and on his. Are they supposed to be the same or does that mean that one of us have aftermarket struts or any other product. Just wanted to know because I have strut & vibration problem. Plus the LCD.
SW03ES Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 They should be the same height. Doesn't mean theres something wrong with one of the cars, each car is slightly different, could be age of struts, amount of gas, air pressure in tires...
SKperformance Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 i Agree with steve the cars are the same unless one came with air suspension and one didn;t. Another thing is different tires maybe the same size but still different height.
leo Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Your 93 can look lower because the bottom trim on you car is wider and color painted as the cladding (bottom half of car), were as the 90-92 is painted black. I also noticed this when I parked my 1991 LS next to my friends 1994 LS and realized this difference can make the car look lower.
UCF3 Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 I'm going with the Air suspension and the age of the Shocks. Tire pressure could be the culprit as well.
