snakehead Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Looking to buy a LS430 , I love the option of air conditioned seats , Do they work as good as they sound ? seems nice in 100 degree weather , Is it possible to buy the air cond. seats and install in regular LS430 or to much $$.
SW03ES Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Naa its not going to be possible to retrofit it into another LS430 that doesn't have it, although I think most LS430s do. They're okay...nothing spectacular.
PilotguyPA28 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 You can definately tell the difference on a hot day. Your clothes don't stick to you and they do help cool you. Now that I've had them I wouldn't want a car without them.
dashan Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Does this butt cooling and ball cooling thing influence the sperm viability?
Will B. Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Mine don't help all that much. It's a feature I could live without, and I live in Phoenix where we've been 110+ the last few days.
snakehead Posted July 15, 2009 Author Posted July 15, 2009 Does this butt cooling and ball cooling thing influence the sperm viability? No thats the Vortex option that crowns a set of crystals under your !Removed!.
PilotguyPA28 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 It doesn't cool that much just keeps your !Removed! and back from sticking to the seats. Cools a little. Check your filters. If they are dirty not much air will be getting through.
docsd Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 I love the seat coolers. They're quite powerful so you can hear the fans blowing the air through them. My car has the coolers all around--front and back--and my passengers enjoy them too.

If they are dirty not much air will be getting through. I tried to find the a/c filters under the seat and found a small ashtray like compartment in both the driver's and passenger's seat. Both of these, slide out trays, were clean and empty. Is this where the seat filters should be? I just bought my 2005 ls430 :)
