magat1 Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 What are the brightest and whitest bulbs out there for my SC400, I have tried almost all piaa bulbs, I do not like the hint of blue, just pure white and bright. Thank You Glenn
SPORTcoupe300 Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 HID is the way to go. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread...&threadid=48111 My apologies if anyone is against me sourcing from CL but this guy did a complete step by step HID conversion with plenty of pics. Worth a look.

Worth a look. It's okay, we won't kill ya ;) HIDs are the way to go, but you should read some of the comments left on this link to see what your getting into. I have Aftermarket HIDs, which are really bright and really cool. Personally, I like the Blue shaded lights on my SC--easier to look at. You could also try Hella Lights. They are the best bulbs out there. HELLA USA
UCF3 Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 I believe the 430s were the only ones for the SC lineup.
Calvin L Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 try out silvania silverstars. those are a pretty good price for their quality. but they last up to around a year then you gotta buy new ones. but they're still cheap :P
sidewinder Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 Just thought I'd put my 2 cents in- The PIAA Extreme white plus bulbs are also very nice if your looking for brighter and whiter rather than the blueish look. Personally I like to see as much as I can and would love to get HID put still a little pricey for me. ANyway- Check out the PIAA bulbs.
