Disable Alarm

yea me too.lol. ;) not to sound like your doing something wrong but when someone asks how to disable a alarm that sounds fishy.are you having a problem with your own alarm?

I had a starter installed in my vehicle. Everytime I remote start the car, the alarm goes off. When I insert the key into the door, the alarm stops and the car starts. I need to disable the alarm so I can remote start the car.

Did the remote start come with its own alarm...

Did you have it professionally installed...

The place that installed the remote start really should have bypassed the factory system.

yep i would take it back to whoever did the job and have them fix it.they should of knew that would happen!

cant you just disarm the car with your remote and then remote start it?

that is what happen when jackasses try and play with luxury toys in buisness.

If the installer was up to par on the cars he worked on he would have had it working properly . Like most peoples ,mine also ,remote start easily and the aftermarket alarm works with the oem one. I can arm both if i want.

I want to know how to do I can start my car. Bought it used so didn't come with a remote to turn it off and my key is stuck in the ignition

Did you try rotating the steering wheel, left and right while trying to rotate the ignition key? If you were to inadvertently rotate the steering wheel and cause it to lock, what you describe would happen.
