I have an 95 ES300. I tried starting my car this morning. The car would not crank over and all the lights on the dash display lit up. I tried for about 10 minutes and the car finally started. This also happened to me about a week ago. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

I looked on Ebay and saw this: ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT CONDITION SET OF PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS FROM A 1995 TOYOTA WINDOM HERE IN JAPAN THESE ARE FOR THE VCV10 AND VCV11 CHASSIS ES300 OR WINDOM - 1992-1996 THE WINDOM IS THE SAME EXACT CAR AS THE LEXUS ES300 - ONLY NAMED DIFFERENT FOR MARKETING PURPOSES. Can I use these to replace my 1995 ES300 headlights??? Can anyone verify this information?

I found a 1993 headlight assembly on Ebay. It says it should fit all ES300s from 92-96. Can anyone verify if the 93 will fit into a 95?

I need to find a front driver's side headlight assembly for my 95 ES300. I'm having a hard time finding one. Does anyone know if that is a Toyota part and if I could use it on my car? If so, what Toyota model and year. Or if that headlight assembly is the same for any other year ES300. Thanks!

I replaced my antenna mast about a year ago. Well, recently my car began making an awful noise only when the antenna goes up. We took the antenna assembly apart and didn't notice anything unusual except perhaps the teeth of the cable was worn. I emailed the guy I had purchased the antenna mast from and he had this to say: "1st : Many pieces of old drive cable are often overlooked because they are "hiding" inside the cable reservoir (big hollow plastic wheel) I have had flat out arguments with folks who opened it and SWORE there was nothing inside only to reveal up to 18 inch lengths of old cable inside the "cable reservoir" upon second inspection. 2nd : if the worm gear is worn (VERY VERY common for Lexus) then it wont necessarily grind going up and down......the teeth on the worm gear wear out to one side..... If the new drive cable shows Wear : Something HAS to be causing that....it doesnt just wear itself out. Remember, something caused the initial failure. My money is on an overlooked piece of old drive cable. Please have him reopen the motor and do this inspection otherwise, the problems will most likely persist and no new mast is going to fix the ongoing trouble. You must fix the root of the problem or your next new mast might only last 6 months Trust me, I have installed 100's of these and sold 1000's, I know what I am saying 110%." We haven't had a chance to take the antenna assembly apart again. Has this happened to anyone and does anyone have any idea what could be causing the wear on the cable? Thanks!

I finally replaced my rear sway bar bushings and the noise is gone! My car runs quietly again! And total cost was $20. Thanks for all the great advice!

I have the same problem with my 95 ES300. I replaced the rear struts a few months ago but that did not resolve the problem. I did notice that when I have heavy passengers in the rear seat, I don't hear the noise very much if at all. I don't know if that bit of info helps. Let us know how things turn out.

I had a starter installed in my vehicle. Everytime I remote start the car, the alarm goes off. When I insert the key into the door, the alarm stops and the car starts. I need to disable the alarm so I can remote start the car.

Does anyone know how to disable the alarm for a 95 ES300? Thanks.

I had the same problems with my ac. The dealer said it was the expansion valve. They were going to charge me $500 to replace it. The part costs about $60. They charge so much because it's a pain to get to. I think it's located somewhere behind the radio. The guy I purchased my car from replaced the part for me.

The Lexus dealer told me that my O2 sensor is out too. He said the bank 1 sensor 1 needed to be replaced. Does anyone know which/where that sensor is?

I replaced the bulb in my instrument cluster and my air bag light came on. How do I get that light to turn off?

I recently bought my car and it has some deep scratches on the trunk and body of the car. I tried to buff it but that only took away the light scratches. Is there a way to "remove" the deeper scratches?

My 95 ES300 is making rattling noises in the rear of my car when I go over any bumps. They seem to be getting louder. I think it might be my struts. Any ideas???

I have a 1995 ES300. My speedometer needle is out. Do I have to buy a brand new needle or can i buy a bulb for the needle? How much is the cost? Thanks.
