New Is250 Awd Owner

I just purchased a new IS 250 AWD yesterday and I love it.

It is Starfire Pearl and the interior is Cashmere Perforated Leather Trim with Auburn Bird's-Eye Maple Accent.

I got the following options:

Voice-activated DVD Navigation System with Additional Options

- Voice-activated DVD Navigation System

- Luxury Package

- Premium package

- XM® Satellite Radio

- Rear spoiler

- Preferred accessory package (includes cargo net, trunk mat and wheel locks)

- All-weather floor mats

I have a stupid question. Both sunvisors have a slot in them. What is this designed for?

My best guess is that there for electronic gate pass cards.

I use the slot for my regs and ins. card. I guess you could use it for garage access cards for work, etc.

Yes the plastic things on the sun visors are card holders of some type. I never used them FWIW.

I've used them for garage ticket stubs or airport parking ticket stubs. I suppose you could even use them for toll booth cards. Naturally, I alway panic when I can't remember the *safe* place I stored them in...

Sweet ride - that was one on my color combo that I wanted - ended up with same interior with Black Shaphire Pearl. Hey By the way.. watch out with the Wood on the center console. I was vacuuming and the hose slipped out of my hand and scratched the heck out of it - I am still bummed 6 months later. Thing scratches super easy. I asked Lexus how much to replace...$1900!
