rubinlf Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 battery for ES300 (2000) key is weak or dead. Original battery was Panasonic CS1818, which seems to not longer be available. Does anyone know of a satisfactory replacement?
blake918 Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 Sure, I was in the same predicament when my remote key battery went. After spaking with a nice lady at Radio Shack, she explained that the front letters have something to do with manufacturing. Just look for one with the same numbers. Good luck!
es3doubleO Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 I think the Duracell CR1616 works just as well.
steviej Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 go to CVS, Walgreens, any autoparts store. Just look up your battery number on the chart that is usually hanging with the new batterys and see what alternative manufacturer numbers are. Shouldn't be more than a couple of bucks. steviej
SW03ES Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 My dad talked a lady in a jewlery store into changing his for him for only the cost of the battery. But thats just how he is LOL. You can even really eyeball the battery replacement...
