PLF
I thaugh I'd show my LS, I've been member for almost a year but never uploaded any pics. This weekend I just installed GS350 17" rims + Dunlop SP Sport 5000 OEM Runflat tires in 225/50-17 flavour. Yes, my car as 95 000km thats 60 000miles its a 1991. :D
jcrome04
Nice!! Great mileage too! :D She's got a very nice shine. I'd say drop it on some Tanabe DF210's and it'll be good to go ;) haha Keep it up!!
eatingupblacktop
I like the wheels. Nice contrast against the dark body color. How do you like the the Dunlops? Notice any difference in the ride? Definitely nice rims but your rocker panels are looking a bit rough.

PLF
Thanks guys ! OH did I mention the car is not washed loll !! only the rims. The Dunlops ? I love them, Man the car handles like 3X like it did with MXV4 stock. The body is much more stable, its crazy. The best Is I lost 0 Confort. Its all good :D I would love to drop it but I drive the car all year and here we have like 3-4 months of deep snow and ice and salt and all that *BLEEP*.... silvermistLS
nice wheels... I'd switch to 55 series sidewalls. It'll fill up your wheel well a bit more, and give you a better ride. Unless you get 18s I don't think low profile tires look good on older LS400s. Nice clean car!!

I understand your point, the problem to keep speedo accuracy within 3% with a 55 profile I would need to use 205/55-17 and almost no one makes this size and its very expensive. Even with these 225/50 I still have a 1% error. The perfect 17" match on this LS is 235/45-17 wich IMO looks dumb... Oh and BTW I got the tires almost free with the rims :P I will post a pic when I install my chrome grill inserts :D Thanks guys
silvermistLS
I see what you are saying. Is there a reason why you are concerned with speedo accuracy... if you take the discrepancy into account mentally, you can just apply it as you drive no? U can do 235/55 17s. OmarG
i've wanted these wheels for so long! i just can't justify spending the dough. My car isn't clean enough, and has 255k now.
