Greetings forum members. I have an '06 GS-300 with light tan, heated and cooled, perforated leather front seats. The driver's seat has taken on a dark hue, probably from the transfer of clothing dyes, that I don't like.

Are there any recommended special techniques for cleaning perforated leather? Also, what product do you use and recommend. I know Lexus sells some leather maintenance items but I know there must be others that work just as well and are less pricey.

Thanks in advance!

Use a pH balanced leather cleaner or a highly diluted all purpose cleaner, and of course condition after cleaning! :D The perforated leather seats in my 97 LS are almost 100% perfect.

I use a solution of water & woolite (6:1) to clean the seats which works extremely well, also cleans interior vinyl well.

DO NOT use Lexus' cleaner and conditioner because it's too "thick" and caked up the little holes. After you clean it with the woolite-water mix SW mentioned, use a conditioner like Lexol which is a little more "wattery" and won't clog up the holes.
