  1. Trade that airplane and buy several LOL. It is indeed a neat car. My one regret is that I won't be able to drive it to the edge of the envelope because of my skills and the laws in this country. Maybe I should tgry a "driver's education" event at a local track.
  2. I cannot figure out how to do a PM!!!!! All is lost.... all is lost.
  3. I think I'll respond to myself. Thanks to the manual for all the help! I just didn't realize how hard I'd have to pull on the panel to get it out.
  4. Is there any activity here? If not, can someone recommend an active forum for IS-F enthusiasts? Thank you.
  5. Hi Forum members, I am the proud owner of a new 08 IS-F. I'd like to replace the NAV DVD and, although I am reading the instructions, I am finding it difficult to replace the DVD. The instructions say to insert the two special tools provided into the holes on either side of the clock panel. I can't seem to find the holes! Can anybody provide any assistance or, possibly, a better picture of the holes? Thanks in advance and I look forward to sharing things with you all in the future. Joey
  6. I took my GS into the dealer for a "re-repair" of a recent reproblem and they are keeping the car for the three recalls mentioned above. I have decided to trade it for an IS-F and I am looking forward to the new driving sensation.
  7. Hi, where exactly is the NAV dvd drive? I tried looking and all I could find is the jack, and some tools. Please help!
  8. Hi, I cannot seem to figure out how to physically acces the DVD for removal and replacement. Can someone help? Thanks much.
  9. Good point about getting the cap changed under warranty. Besides, my wife and daughter like the refreshments that are available from the local dealer. Ciao everyone and thanks for the information
  10. I have not hit any curbs or done other damage to the wheels or suspension that I know of. I took the car into the dealer today and they read the codes. The computer told the techs that the oxygen sensor on bank #1 was bad so they replaced it and the multitude of warnings have not come back. Regarding the fuel filler cap, it just feels weird to me. I urn it clockwise and will stop after a few clicks thinking the cap's on tight. The weird thing (to me) is that just the slightest pressure counterclockwise is enough to begin the removal of the cap. I seem to remember that it took substantially more than just a feather touch to begin the removal process. What do you all think?
  11. Wow I hope it's that simple for me! Thanks for the quick response and out to the garage I go! I'll let you know what I find.
  12. Hi, I have an '06 GS-300 with 11k miles on it and this afternoon I got a "Check VSC" on the dashboard display accompanied by a "check engine" icon and what appears to be a "check brakes" icon. Any idea where to start on this other than the dealer? Thanks for your time.
  13. Don't even need a screw driver. Just use the tip of the mechanical key. Thanks for the info Duckman!
