v.i.p. Posted February 25, 2008 Share Posted February 25, 2008 I'm planning to put an exhaust system by magnaflow with a x pipe. I was wondering if you take out all three resonator if it will pass smog or no. From what I see it sounds clean if you take out the resonator. The cost for taking out the resonator and putting x pipe with magna flow exhaust is 350 including labor. I hear people say x pipe is better than H pipe is that true. Just wondering... lexfourcam Posted February 25, 2008 Share Posted February 25, 2008 ive heard of removing the resonators but i wouldnt more than likely the check engine light will come on because that's where the O2 sensors are and i dont think the car will run without them.
