'96 Ls400 High Idle At Start

Is it normal for an LS400 to idle around 1,100-1,200 rpm after start? In gear the car will go like crazy without touching the pedal. Before this I replaced the plugs, wires, rotors, caps, and cleaned the throttle body with a new gasket. After the car warms up the idle goes back down to exactly where everyone on the forum say's it should be. Is this a normal warmup thing built into the car or something?

I've got the same issue after cleaning the T/B and installing a K&N filter.

Someone please help, i've got the same problem, but mine starts off at about 1600rpm, then gradually goes down as the car warms up.

Reset the ECU.

How do you reset the ECU, just by disconnecting the battery, or is there a reset on the actual ECU? Thanks in advance for you response.
