Rx-350 Engine Ticking Sound When Cooling

It is the sound of the metals contracting after heat expansion. -
Sometimes that happens when you drive with the parking brake on.

I've got the same issue after cleaning the T/B and installing a K&N filter.

I had the same problem. First I bought a brand new switch, no help. Then I got the wiring diagram and shot the wires. Found a bad ground, so I jumped it and everything worked fine. That worked for about six months then the window failed again. I wound up taking it to the dealer and they replaced the driver's side harness.

04, After all of the evidence SW has cited, have you ever tried to turn on the ECT Snow switch prior to starting your car? If you haven't, I suggest you do. The switch doesn't work with the car off. If you turn it on while the car is running and then turn the car off, the ECT turns off. The only way you know it is on is by the indicator light in the speedo. There needs to be a little common sense applied here, despit the owner's manual confusion.

While driving today, the CEL and VSC lights both came on. I pulled over and called the service dept. They had asked whether I had just filled up with gas, which I had not. They acted like it was no big deal and it would only take a few minutes to fix. Has anyone had this problem? My RX 330 only has 5800 miles on it.

Nothing worked for me when I had the same problem. I must have went through 3 or 4 bottles of the stuff and it just kept running out. The bad news is if you don't stop the leak, it will destroy your alternator as well.
