EnginePassion
I found that my car consumes more of V-Power gas than the prem. gas. the difference is about 4 mpg...I thought that this does not make sense but I checked that twice. Enyone experienced same thing?
looking4Lexus
What is VPOWER gasoline?
BostonKiller
What is VPOWER gasoline? He might be referring to Shell.
lopid
Do you mean that you use up Shell V-Power premium gasoline faster than premium gasoline of other brands? Not really clear on what you mean. V-Power is the premium gas for Shell. I have only used V-Power, and I average about 18 mpg with mostly city driving.
SW03ES
V-Power is no different from premium gasoline from other brands. Shell just calls it "V-Power"
drewcampbell
Supposedly it is actually different; it is "supposed" to include over 3 times the amount of active cleaners (e.g. Techron) in the gas that other Premium gasolines. Not really sure if that is true OR if it would have anything to do with worse/better gas mileage.
EnginePassion
V-Power is the Shell prem gasoline and it's different from other prem gas because it contains up to 10 ethanol. Based on my experience using it and using other prem gasoline, it seems it got less power output than other ones. V-power avarages 18 GPM but other prem gas averages 22 GPM. Cory
I only use Shell because I get better mpg with V-Power than any other premium. I drive mostly highway and average 26mpg in my 98 SC300. Plus, there's a Shell station right down the street from my apt :D
